If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

b. and d.

edit

Please stop changing "born" to "b." and "died" to "d.", as you did in Baron Grimthorpe and other articles. I can't put my hand on an explicit rule about this right now, but all the examples in WP:MOSNUM and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biographies use the spelled out form. PamD 16:26, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have asked for advice at Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Dates_and_numbers#.22b..22_or_.22born.22.3F. Please do not make any more of these changes until we hear from the MOSNUM experts there. Thanks. PamD 16:41, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I've now see the page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Peerage and Baronetage which specifies that these abbreviations should be used. OK, sorry, you're right here (or, possibly, the project is wrong and is going against general consensus... it'll be interesting to note whether anyone replies to my message). I don't usually do much with baronets etc, the Becketts are on my watchlist for geographical reasons. PamD 16:49, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marquess of Tweeddale, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gifford (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
