Hello, I'm Noq. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Atwal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please do not use bold text everywhere. noq (talk) 09:53, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please read tutorial on citing sources as linked above. You need to include your sources in the article and not just mention them on your talk page after they have been reverted. Also, "other google websites" does not make a good reference. See WP:reliable sources. noq (talk) 11:20, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Giani Gurmukh Singh Musafir, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 09:56, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Atwal, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Lists of notable people should only contain those people that have wikipedia articles already. They should link to those articles. Vague claims to references to edit summaries are not actual references. Please read the links provided above about how to include a proper citation. For notable people lists, the references are usually more appropriate in the linked articles themselves. noq (talk) 11:38, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions alert notice

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
