Hi, Splateagle. Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks very much for your anti-vandalism efforts. Please don't take offense, but I've noticed that on at least a couple of user talk pages, you're using the level 1 warning after the editor has already received a higher-level warning (for example, this and this). This isn't a hard rule, of course, but my experience has been that it's usually customary to continue the escalation of warnings if they're close enough together in time. You may have intentionally done this, but my guess is that you simply may not be aware of the higher-level warnings, which are more strongly worded as you work your way up the line. You can read more about the various warnings here. Again, my apologies if this sounds at all condescending; that is most definitely not my intent. - You're welcome, SE. Like I said, it's not a hard rule; each instance is a separate judgement call for the counter-vandalism patroller. I've even seen some editors who hardly warn at all. Personally, to be as consistent and fair as I can, I try to explain my actions every time I revert someone else's work, but that's just me. Also, I believe it was only a coupla months ago that I was trying to wrap my own head around all the different advisory and warning templates (I still don't yet have it all down pat) and thought I saw some familiar activity on your part. Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. Corsewall Lighthouse.jpg edit
Hi, thanks for your message re the image above. The original which I uploaded was sourced from Geograph here. I've looked at this image again, the links you provided and the many other images on Geograph for Corsewall Lighthouse and Killantringan Lighthouse. It seems pretty clear to me that you're right and the original Geograph image is mis-identified, and should be renamed as you suggest. Good pair of eagle eyes you have :)
Though they're very similar, key differences are: the height and proportions of the respective lighthouse towers; the horizontal banding around one tower but not the other and the different forms of the two chimney stacks on the adjoining low buildings. The image has been transferred to Commons, so I'll move it to a more appropriate title of "Killantringan _Lighthouse.jpg" over there shortly. You should be good to use it in your new article soon, pending no uproar or reversion by Commons regulars :)

Use of non-free image File:AmigaOS 4.1 Update 2.png on Amiga edit
The non-free image File:AmigaOS 4.1 Update 2.png was recently restored to Amiga by you after it have been removed for failure of our non-free content criteria policy, specifically item #10c which requires a "separate, specific non-free use rationale for each use of the item". The image still fails the 10c policy requirement and has been removed from the article again. Please do not restore this image to that article again without complying with the requirements of that policy. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography.
