http://

Hi. I'm not sure what you're trying to do but removing the http:// from a URL makes it impossible for people to follow that link. (i.e. google.com versus http://google.com). I don't see this as an improvement. Some changes seem even more bizarre for instance replacing <ref>http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/judaica/ejud_0002_0001_0_00017.html </ref> by <ref>American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (2013(a))</ref>. For now I've undone the edit to Aachen. Best, Pichpich (talk) 20:08, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I am trying to keep some semblance of order and neatness. Removing the http may not have been the best move, and if people object I won't raise a stink; However keep in mind that one can still find the link in the reference section. It seemed to be a cleaner looking section with all of the links in one area. As far as the Jewishvirtuallibrary portion goes, I will change that one back as that does not look proper nor match the rest of the reference section. speednat (talk) 22:13, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
After some verification, I have reverted the entire change back to the way I had it. Whereas I do appreciate the thought that went into your effort and your obvious care for ease of use, if you readHandling embedded links you will see that the way you changed it to is no longer a preferred way due to link rot and such. speednat(talk) 22:33, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aaronic priesthood (Latter Day Saints), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation pageMartin Harris (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
