Welcome to the Wikipedia, SophisticatedPrimate! And thanks for the contribution to the Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder article. Hope you enjoy editing here and becoming a Wikipedian! Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:

And some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, Wikiquette, and you can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes: ~~~~.

Best of luck, SophisticatedPrimate, and have fun! Ombudsman 20:23, 11 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Local exchange carrier. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Hi, SophisticatedPrimate. Thanks for your thoughtful message on my talk page. On reviewing the link, I agree that it is fine. I was too hasty to assume it was spam and made a mistake. I have reverted the Local exchange carrier page to include your link and struck out the warning above, which is not justified. Please accept my apologies.
