Speedy deletion nomination of User:Snaylerecords

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Snaylerecords, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. DES (talk) 04:07, 25 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kristen Vermilyea

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kristen Vermilyea requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a specific animal, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Blocked

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. • Hey, the problem with your username is it looks like you're editing on behalf of Snayle Records. This gives off the idea that you're editing on behalf of Kristen Vermilyea because you represent her in some context. Your edits weren't so promotional that it'd make me block you and not give you the benefit of the doubt, but it did give me pause. I'd recommend that if you're interested in continuing to edit, that you get a different username that doesn't represent a company. I'm willing to userfy the data if you wish, but I would highly recommend that if there is a conflict of interest that you look into getting someone from WP:MUSIC to help you. It'd ensure that you have someone that would know the notability guidelines for performers and that they would help ensure neutrality. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:28, 25 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Usurping a name

edit

Hey, I listed the account for you at the name change area and it looks like there's another person with that name that recently signed up. Was that you that created it or is it someone else? If it's someone else then you can still usurp the name by filing for it at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations, but you should take into account that it was recently made by someone else and they might use it. If it was you then you could list on Usurpations and ask for the two accounts to be merged or whatnot. In any case, the usurpation has to be done by you specifically. It's easy- you just follow the steps on the page and it's fairly straightforward. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 02:08, 26 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
