Proposed deletion of Herlinatiens

The article Herlinatiens has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

there are no references for the bestseller claims or anything else

Nomination of Herlinatiens for deletion

Updating your article

I've updated your article to try and bring it upto standards. I've also added some references to make Herlinatiens more notable. On the Articles for Deletion discussion, I've made a case to keep this article. With some of the additions I've made, I believe it will be kept. Please give me a ring on my talk page if you have any questions... I've probably done something you don't agree with.

If you have any more information about her singing/songwriting I'd sure love the references. I'd really like to know what she has been doing the past 5 years as she seems extremely interesting and brave.

I'd like to get permission to keep her photo on Wikipedia. Do you have an email address for her? If you do, goto my user page. On the left hand side under "Toolbox", their is an option called "E-mail this user". Send me her email address this way so it won't be made public on Wikipedia. An Article for Deletion (AfD) discussion will last a minimum of 7 days. If consensus of the discussion is to delete, then the article will be deleted. If consensus is to keep, then the AfD tag will be removed from the article. Unfortunately, having just videos on Youtube does not make her notable for a singer. Unless she releases an album or has several news stories about her singing, it probably shouldn't be mentioned on here article. Bgwhite (talk) 17:48, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Good news! Looks like the article won't be deleted as the last few editors have said to keep the article. Even better, an editor suggested the article should become a "Did You Know" (DYK). Becoming a DYK means the article will appear on the front page of Wikipedia. The first article you created is shown on the frontpage, not bad at all. Good job. I'll do the nomination in the next couple of days. I got your email. Thank You. I'll contact Herlinatiens in a few hours.
