Format references edit

Your band article needs more than what we call "bare urls", perhaps see {{cite web}}. I haven't looked at the sources yet, but will if you format the refs. Happy editing! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:34, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the link! I didn't know it was necessary to format the references like that. Can you change the title? And when I create a new article how to I do it so that "Draft" doesn't appear in the title? User:Sinclair_98_luis 14:17 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Before I move, I'll look closer. Generally: you can just write a new article from scratch. You can click on a red link, or write the name in the search function which will then prompt you with such a red link. My (or rather our) article of the day is Sarah Louvion, translated from French by a friend, then I looked for references. I hear her often in Frankfurt, and had no idea! - Will your article be linked to others? Should be. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:28, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
It is linked to other articles. There is the "Associated acts" section with a link to other articles. And there are links to many other articles. User:Sinclair_98_luis 15:04, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Excuse my ignorance, please. I moved it, after some formatting, - please see the history for more details of what to avoid next time. - The other condition was met by someone else, - wish you had done it. - I also linked to the founders' articles. You may copy references from there, and perhaps an image. When copying text, make sure that you reword, or make a note on the article talk that you copied, and from where. Copyright is a very strictly obeyed value. Assuming good faith another ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:10, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! What condition? User:Sinclair_98_luis 15:20 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Looks like you unwatched the FS page. I told you: someone thinks you can't be a new user. It happens to all who touch the unspeakable topic, never mind. Just keep editing music ;) - In case you don't know: you can watch an article by a little star on top, and then get changes reported to your watchlist. Highly useful. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:36, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Next to the little star, there'e "More". If you click that, you get to the Move function, so next time you can move it yourself. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:39, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
I must have unwatched it unknowingly. Thanks again! I'm new at this... Looks like editing Wikipedia is a world in itself. I don't have the move button yet, that's why I asked. BTW, aren't you related to Hannah Arendt? User:Sinclair_98_luis 15:42, 19 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Sad to the that retired banner, I would have liked to talk to you today. Best wishes. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:07, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
