Sixth National Government

edit

Hi Simon Wirral, I appreciate your contributions to the Sixth National Government of New Zealand. Thanks for keeping the page updated. It is good to see other Wikipedians working on New Zealand-related topics. Just some advice. Keep content on policy announcements and other developments such as Winston Peters' state of the union address brief and descriptive, like a maximum of three sentences. If a topic requires more detailed elaboration, it can go in the minister or politician's Wikipedia article. While it is natural for the Sixth National Govt article to expand over the years, lets keep it to within a manageable size somthat it doesnt become too long to navigate. Wikipedia:Article size#Size guideline recommends a maximum of 15,000 words. Trimming can include giving a brief headline summary of events instead of lengthy paragraphs or reducing the number of references covering an event or development. Besides trimming content, it is also possible to split big articles into smaller ones. I am also working to reduce the size of the Sixth Labour Government of New Zealand article by creating two offshoot articles. Hope this helps and feel free to get back in touch.
