{{intranslation}} edit

Please do not keep this template on an article for more than a few hours, as it violates WP:OWN. Thank you, Kusma (討論) 13:12, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation pages edit

I know we spoke earlier but I can't find your archive.

Do not take over disambiguation pages and turn them into onomastics pages. Instead, you can create separate onomastics pages. I will not check back for a response.--Commander Keane 01:05, 4 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please slow down edit

and don't translate too many articles at once. See Category:Articles in translation. Most of these are being translated by you. Are you really actively working on all of them? If you are not, please remove the {{intranslation}} from articles that you haven't been editing for a day or so. Kusma (討論) 10:45, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:Meyers edit

The intranslation-box has been there, according to the history page, from july. Are you actively translating this template? Otherwise it'll be a five minutes job for me to do that. IndividualBeing 07:58, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Frankfurter Judengasse edit

Unfinished translation projects like this do not belong into the main article space. Please use a personal sandbox like User:Sheynhertz-Unbayg/Frankfurter Judengasse for such a project. I have deleted the unfinished version here per WP:CSD#A2. Kusma (討論) 11:30, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have made this category almost unusable. Please stop using {{intranslation}} and help by cleaning up this category. If you add more partially translated articles, you will be blocked from editing. Kusma (討論) 11:36, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Reversions edit

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Mo-Al 17:06, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup is not vandalism edit

Good-faith cleanup efforts like this are not vandalism, please do not refer to it as such. I have also removed lots of things that do not belong on a Mahler (disambiguation) page, which is only for places, people or things that are called "Mahler", for nothing else. You can move extra content to other pages, but please write an article, not just a list. Thank you, Kusma (討論) 08:28, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Do you react to things people post on your talk page? Please answer to people's complaints. Kusma (討論) 13:29, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please check out Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Sheynhertz-Unbayg, it has lots of discussion about your behaviour and why it is a problem. If you communicate with other editors, we might be able to help you with your goals. If you keep silent, we do not know if you even understand what we say. Please don't force me to block you to get your attention. Kusma (討論) 09:43, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, as you see in Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Sheynhertz-Unbayg, most people think your project of adding information on Jewish families is good and worthwhile. We just have problems with the way you go about it and your continued failure to participate in meaningful communication about it. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 08:47, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sheynhertz, I hope you will not be insulted if I make a short comment here, and am very grateful for your patience in reading what I have to say. Your commitment to Yiddishkeit is clearly very strong, no-one can question that. Please consider that the problem here is not that other users want to belittle or degrade you, and not that they consider you worthless. We do not want you to "retire". Rather, the problem is that you have not been communicating with us. You do not respond to messages that other users send to you. This makes it extremely difficult for other users to understand what your motivations are, and means there is no possibility of settling any dissagreements in a satisfactory way. I humbly suggest that it would be much easier for you and for other users if you'd start to talk to us, explain what you are trying to do here, and respond to messages from other people. Please start communicating with others. Zay Gezunt. --Batamtig 22:54, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Albert Fraenkel edit

Hi, I noticed that you translated the German page on Albert Frankel into English. I suspect that the English page combines the works of two different German doctors of the same name. Could you please read over the page at Albert Fraenkel and help out? About the Basch family edit

Hello my friend! You have written that the Basch family is Jewish. This was a great mistake. I have done many researches about this family because this is the maiden name of my mother. My ancestors lived in Hungary durring the WW2. They wasn't deported! My gradfather's father was killed by Serbian Partisans because he was a German and he had a Hungarian wife. I have a family tree to, and there are no Jews. There are a lot of Roman Catholic priest. The surname before 1751 was Pasch and not Bassavi or something like that. And I've read only on the Wikipedia that the family is Jewish. I have read that the family was a great German family in Prussia, but I didn't read anywhere include a free encyclopedia that the Basch family is Jewish. There can be some Jewish descendents because some of them could married whit Jewish women, but Judaism comes after the mother and not after the father. I am an ethnicaly Hungarian, a Magyar but this is not a reason to the Basch family be originaly Hungarian. And please do researches before you make an article!

Great! KÖSZÖNÖM szépen kívánok, und Ich Danke!! Apatin? Nagybecskerek? Weissenkirchen? Hatzfeld? I think you are Banater Schwaben (bánsági sváb) descendant. I'll try about Basch article. Let's fight with me!
--Sheynhertzגעשׁ״ך 12:09, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello again! Nagyon szivesen. Their lived near Hatzfeld(neben Hatzfeld, Zsombolya mellett).I can send you my family tree. But I think it is not needed, because there was a Nazi leader(who is not my close relative, and I am not a Nazi) whose name was Franz Basch. So I think he wasn't Jewish. I think that Basch is a Swabian name(sváb név), which was taken by some Jews. User:HunTheGoaT 15:28, 23 August 2006 (CEST)

Jud edit

You have been warned not to turn disambiguation pages into onomastic pages. They serve different purposes. Please abide by the manual of style. Thank you, Kusma (討論) 12:11, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please create an extra page for people and things not named Jud. You can link to that page, but should not turn a working disambiguation page into something else. Kusma (討論) 12:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wassertrüding (onomastics) edit

Are you sure that Trudinger and Trilling are derived from Wassertrüdingen? If you are, please provide a source. Also, it would be agood if an onomastics article would write about Onomastics. This page appears to be mostly a list of people with certain names, and the connection between the names is unsourced and not obvious. Can you explain this? Kusma (討論) 12:04, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you don't want to write about the names, you could just expand List of people by name, which might be the better place for the type of information you add anyway. Kusma (討論) 12:07, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hans Judenkünig edit

How is he related to Jud? Kusma (討論) 13:34, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is onomastics. New Testament? "rex judaeorum!!", un' dornenreich. But this is anti-Judaism by Roman gentile-origine Marc --Sheynhertzגעשׁ״ך 14:29, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Maybe I misunderstand what onomastics is. I know what "Judenkönig" means, but it is in his case not a Jewish name as evidenced by the German page (apparently he or one of his ancestors played Jesus Christ in some passion play and was named "Judenkönig" like in the New Testament). Weir (disambiguation) edit

Disambiguation pages are not articles and should not be articles. They should not be expanded and do not have stub tags. If you are unable to understand this, I will have to block you from editing. Kusma (討論) 09:02, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

I have blocked you from editing for constant misuse of the {{intranslation}} template. It is meant to be used for a couple of hours or at most a day only, yet you keep it on your articles for weeks or months. I had warned you not to add any more articles to Category:Articles in translation, but you did not answer. I will unblock you if you promise to clean up your contributions, and help make our category usable again. Kusma (討論) 09:09, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Other reasons are your constant creation of double redirects etc., despite multiple warnings. I don't mind helping you with some of your projects, but your stubborn way of not reacting to warnings and demands of a change of behaviour does not leave me a choice other than blocking you. Kusma (討論) 09:12, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
You are vandalist. See Kohn. double-redirects will correct naturally by Bots. and why do you remove many informations I made? I'm very tired, solitary and in a Krenkheyt, line is very heavily and I can't any work wie I hope, because my ADSL, but you don't any help me.
I'm retire soon, also it's your hope. Good bye and thank you everyone! Sheynharts 09:43, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
You make it very hard to help you. I do not wish you to retire, I want you to talk to people about what onomastics pages are, what they should look like (yours are just lists that sit halfway inbetween disambiguation pages and List of people by name, and do not contain any proofs or citations that the names are actually related to each other) and where and how to link to them. Why don't you let others help you? Nobody at the request for comment wanted to harm you (and I sure don't), but your refusal to communicate left me little choice other than blocking you.
About double redirects: Yes, they usually eventually get fixed by bots. This may take a couple of weeks, though. It is not polite to deliberately leave a mess such as these and to hope that someone else will clean it up. Why didn't you talk to me about this when I asked you earlier?
Please try to cooperate with other editors. Oh, and technically, block evasion by using an IP is bad. Don't do it. Kusma (討論) 09:52, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and I remove information because disambiguation pages are not articles, and should contain only as little information as possible. See the manual of style. Please follow our style guidelines, and you will have less problems. Kusma (討論) 10:01, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
You did not address the issue of the {{intranslation}} template and your refusal to remove it yet. You should still be able to edit this page even though you are blocked (when you are logged in) so you can answer. Maybe you misunderstand what the template is for? Please answer. If you answer and promise to answer to the comments at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Sheynhertz-Unbayg, I will unblock you. Kusma (討論) 10:04, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
You are saying I'm a no-meaning and no-worth scholar. OK. I thought too. But I'll die future. You are hoping I'll retire, OK. I do so soon.
You vandalised Kugel (onomastics), Weir (disambiguation), and many articles, But I blocked and you were didn't block. This is the Wiki-world wie the Japanese Wiki that hate me. People don't like and love me, it's true. Sheynharts 10:19, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Like many other editors, I did not vandalize, but tried to clean up your messy articles. If you continue evading your block by using IPs, I will extend your block. My offer of immediately unblocking you if you answer to the request for comment still stands. Kusma (討論) 10:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I just see that this is a general bad habit of you to accuse editors who clean up after you as vandalism, you also did so on the German Wikipedia, where you were also reverted when you tried to turn disambiguation pages into something else. Stop it, it is disruptive. Kusma (討論) 12:37, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Interwiki links edit

Please create such links to pages in the Japanese Wikipedia only if the target exists in the Japanese Wikipedia. I had told you not to do this before, but you ignored me. If you don't ignore other people but answer to them, I won't need to block you. Kusma (討論) 10:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

From your talk archives I see you have been doing this since 2005, despite several warnings. You have to start listening to other people's comments on your actions, and to change your behaviour when it is wrong. Kusma (討論) 12:39, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Block evasion edit

I have decided not to extend the block on this account yet, although I find your use of sockpuppets for block evasion rather troubling. If you do not change your behaviour after your block has run out and do not respond to your request for comment, I will block you for longer. Please do not make me do that. I am willing to help you (for example, I can translate some German articles for you), but you need to change your behaviour. Kusma (討論) 18:04, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kusma, I need your help edit

  1. Your "clean-up" is deletion; cf.Kohn, Gerhard von Kügelgen, etc (User:Mo-Al also; Basch, Korn (onomastics), etc; these are vandalism)
    1. I need you to translate paragraph, or articles; cf.Kohnstamm; very thank you
  2. Why you can't revive Frankfurter Judengasse > User:Sheynhertz-Unbayg/Frankfurter Judengasse with all the history?
  3. I need you to write (Category:Onomastics, Category:families, Category:Jewish families) family history, geneaolgy, etymology, comments, etc (cf.Gottesmann article)
  4. I'll make template:etymology-stub, template:family-stub, template:yiddish-stub, [[:template:]]
Shenharts 08:55, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

You can log in now, you are no longer blocked. to your points:

  1. Cleanup can indeed mean deletion at times. See the manual of style for what kind of information should be on a disambiguation page. Deletion of information from disambiguation pages can be good and not vandalism.
  2. You never asked. Of course I can do that. I will move your translation project to your userspace.
  3. I can't write about that. I know nothing about onomastics. I am German and have a pretty good intuition about language (that's why I don't believe in what you write at Wassertrüding (onomastics), but I have no literature here form which I could cite anything about the history and interconnection of names.
  4. Before creating stub types, you should propose them at the proposals page, or they may be deleted.

At Wilhelm von Kügelgen, I removed the untranslated information. As articles completely copied from other Wikipedias can be speedily deleted under WP:CSD#A2, I think removing partial translations is good. Nobody should submit partially translated articles: this is the English Wikipedia, and content in foreign languages is usually deleted (it is still accessible through the interwiki links). You create more half-translated articles than our translators can handle, and translators typically prefer translating from scratch to cleanup tasks. That is why you have to stop doing this, help clean up your existing articles and slow down.

I can translate an article or two from the German Wikipedia for you when I have time, but I don't like translating stuff that you just cut and paste and drop here on the English Wikipedia. At Wilhelm von Kügelgen, I didn't see any point in translating the reference section for an article that hasn't been translated yet, so I just removed it. I think this was an improvement, hence cleanup.

About your onomastics pages. I am not quite certain what these pages should look like. I don't understand why you mix information about names (which belongs to onomastics) with information about families and their members (which in my opinion rather belongs on pages about the family (if the people are all related) or a disambiguation page (if they are not). I (and many other people) are not certain why people with different, but loosely related names should be listed on the same page. Perhaps you can explain that?

Thank you for answering, and happy editing, Kusma (討論) 11:44, 25 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
