Samuel, to answer your question, please read WP:SPS. Regards, Ashmoo (talk) 15:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You may also want to read the external links guideline, Wikipedia is not a linkfarm, Wikipedia is not an internet directory, etc. etc. Please discuss and achieve consensus on the link before adding it again. Thanks. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:43, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK, several people are reverting that link, apparently that is still a question if is is of use and/or interesting. You can try to convince people on the talkpage:

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Watchmen, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:10, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I should also add:

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Watchmen. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Please discuss first. --Dirk Beetstra T C 16:15, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have re-instated the link to your thesis in the Watchmen article. I would welcome your thoughts on the talk page where I have initiated discussion in an attempt to clear up the mistaken belief that your thesis is a blog. Hiding T 13:44, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not re-add the link to your thesis in the Watchmen article. This is considered a conflict of interest and spamming. If you have anything constructive to add to this or any other article, feel free to do so. However, so far all your edits have had to do with adding this one link, and such insistent self-promotion can lead to you being banned for spamming.
