Speedy deletion nomination of File:Google logo New.png edit

A tag has been placed on File:Google logo New.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Chipmunk edit

Hey, look - just because you don't like him and you think the single was promo that is no reason to remove it, me I don't care its a good link to the song and his personal site and it plays a nice song and users interested in the singer will benefit from the link so you not liking it is not helping all the other people that come interested. Take him off your watchlist, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 17:46, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Chipmunk (rapper). JamesBWatson (talk) 20:19, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • As an outside observer: even if your edit of the article is correct, please don't revert war; provide a reference for the correct information and - if it's reverted anyway - take it to the article talk page or the talk page of the user who reversed you. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:24, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chipmunk (rapper). Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have also failed to provide any source to support your edits. Please do so if you think the edit is valid. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:28, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
