Hello Samdod2427. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "The Light".

The page will shortly be deleted. Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 10:26, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Two for one pubs

edit

Hello
I see you wrote an article on the Two for One pubs some time ago. The page has been proposed for a merger; do you wish to comment? There are a couple of questions there about the subject; can you provide an any answers? Regards, Moonraker12 (talk) 17:58, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sam: Thank you for replying to this (and so quickly!) You mentioned Spirit Group; there was a page on them from 2005 til 2008 (last version here) before it was merged (without discussion!); and the Spirit Pub Company article wasn't written til 2012.
As far as TfO goes, I'm unsure now whether it was a separate entity (which would merit a separate article, in my book) or a brand used by Spirit Group, like Flaming Grill (or Chef & Brewer, which does have an article, but may not justify one) or simply a discount offer which had a corporate image presentation.
Other than that, I've spent some happy hours traipsing through the related articles trying to make sense of them; it seems a lot that would have been useful has been ditched along the way. Anyway, thanks again for your time on this, Moonraker12 (talk) 22:23, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Two for one pubs

edit

The article Two for one pubs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, and no reliable sources available. It is unclear when this brand was used or who by, and for how long, but it appears to no longer exist. Not useful as a standalone or a redirect. Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited CW postcode area, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Antrobus. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cotswold District Council, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liberal Democrats (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
