Where do I write? --Roar-the-bore (talk) 21:22, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- If you want to create a new article, WP:YFA has all the steps. Also, please post new stuff at the bottom of your talk page. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 21:43, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry about that, there was nowhere to write, and so much coding. Even now, do I need to put formatting ahead of this text? Also, what is this page? Thanks --Roar-the-bore (talk) 21:46, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- You mean the page you're looking at now? This page is your talk page, where other users can talk to you. As for the wiki coding, that's called markup (see WP:MARKUP). Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 22:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- All that coding is basically the welcome message and its links. You can remove it if you want but it might be better to put it on an archive page because it has a lot of links which will be useful to you and you might want to refer to them. I can do that for you if you want. SpinningSpark 22:52, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Ute War
editI don't know if you are still watching the New Users page so I'm dropping a note here. I also found White River War which is the right date for the war you mentioned. The article is only a stub so there is still plenty for you to write. Actually it currently only two sentences. I think maybe Ute War should be a disambiguation page rather than a redirect as there are several things that might be meant. SpinningSpark 00:38, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
