July 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Septrillion. I noticed that you made a comment on the page List of Guns N' Roses members that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. \\\Septrillion:- ~~‭~~10Eleventeen 07:56, 1 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

edits to others talk pages edit

I shouldn't have to tell you this more than once, but never edit another users's talk page, unless refactoring your own comments.RF23 (talk) 03:48, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

"There were 2 hads" edit

Yes, there were indeed two hads before you made this edit to the Elizabeth II article. This is because there are supposed to be two hads. The verb form there needs to be past perfect of have, and since that is formed using the verb have in the past (had) and the past participle of have (also had), the correct form is "had had". I have changed it back. Please don't "correct" this kind of thing again. Thank you. Kelisi (talk) 19:57, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

I’m not going to say a word.......... ARMcgrath (talk) 20:06, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Famousbirthdays.com as a source edit

Hi ARMcgrath. I noticed that you recently used famousbirthdays.com as a source for information in a biography article, KidBehindACamera. Please note that there is general consensus that famousbirthdays.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 03:56, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion contested: User:Wandering Historian edit

Hello ARMcgrath. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of User:Wandering Historian, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: An editor is allowed to mention his or her editing interests and how his or her experience and education relates to editing. Please read Wikipedia:Please do not bite the newcomers. Thank you. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 03:59, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

2 Tread Brewery edit

Hey- got notice I think from you about a quick deletion of the 2 Tread Brewing Page, but I don't see the actual message in Talk for some reason. The page is as factual as it gets it appears- everything is sourced. Compare to other brewery pages (there appears to be a Wikipedia effort to list breweries, so even more relevant for the 2 Tread Page) such as Russian River (also in Sonoma County) and the 2 Tread Brewing page just lists applicable references and citations for same. If there's a rule about something that I put up that I shouldn't have please let me know or edit away... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Billdrury (talkcontribs) 03:09, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Billdrury:Yeah I though you were spamming sorry about that deleted the message cause I knew weren’t doing anything after I nominated it for deletion. For some reason users like you get on the vandalism chart idk why it just is. I don’t trust it sometimes. Sorry about that. I do sincerely apologize in advance A.R.M. 03:12, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

No worries. Tried to keep it "just the facts" out of respect for Wikipedia and to keep it useful. Thanks for keeping an eye out- I'm still learning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Billdrury (talkcontribs) 03:14, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Billdrury: I know you are it’s just that most Wikipedians who join usually decide to be shitheads and vandalize or spam I just hate it with a passion. I understand what your doing completely good luck with that page ur doing. I have faith you will be a good Wikipedians like Oshwah or Bbb23 A.R.M. 03:17, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey question for you... I still show the page "2 Tread Brewing" in my Sand Box but not on the actual Wikipedia. How do I promote it out of Sandbox? THANKS!!!

KidBehindACamera edit

Please note that WP:BLP requires high quality references for all information about living persons. The YouTube videos in KidBehindACamera do not meet this criteria, and their use comes across as promotion. --Ronz (talk) 18:09, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Ronz: I’ll probably redirect the page then. A.R.M. 18:10, 27 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Declined speedy: User:Omar Bharti edit

Hi there, I notice that you tagged User:Omar Bharti for speedy deletion without giving a reason. I have not been able to find a reason why this page should be speedily deleted, so I have removed the tag. If there is an actual reason from WP:CSD that this page should be speedily deleted, please re-add a tag from that page which gives the exact reason. Alternatively, you can take the page to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion for discussion on the merits instead. Thanks! IffyChat -- 08:41, 23 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

AIV and UAA edit

For username violations, please post to WP:UAA rather than WP:AIV. If you use WP:TWINKLE (and you should probably consider using it if you're not), there is a drop-down menu on the "ARV" tab to post to UAA instead of AIV. If there are too many acronyms in that post, please ask for clarification. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:59, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Separately, I don't think Nazim Tuch nazim is a username violation; it appears to be an Indian name, and they haven't made any edits which suggest it is tied to Nazis. power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:59, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
