Rajput

edit

Bearing in mind the recent problems - including sockpuppetry - at the Rajput article, and bearing in mind your relatively new status here, it would be far better if you discuss matters on the article talk page before making changes. Gain WP:CONSENSUS for what you wish to do. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 16:23, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Rajput. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 18:51, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Rajput. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Sitush (talk) 19:21, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Chiragabad

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Chiragabad, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Chiraghabad. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 11:40, 14 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Chiragabad

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Chiragabad. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Chiraghabad. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Chiraghabad – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Samuel Tarling (talk) 11:42, 14 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Kansas Bear (talk) 02:19, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for informing, please inform other editor as well. Rmkop (talk) 02:22, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
You have been informed previously of the recent discussion on the article talk page but you are instead continuing to try to force your preferred version into the article. This needs to stop. And removing a valid merge proposal tag is never acceptable. - Sitush (talk) 08:53, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sanctions

edit

You are still edit warring at Rajput despite consensus being against you on the article talk page. Please take note of the information below. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 09:46, 1 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Chiragabad a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rajput. Sitush (talk) 12:01, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Rmkop, you do some good gnoming work here, fixing citations etc but you blow it all by your frequent unwillingness to abide by such major policies as WP:V, WP:COPYRIGHT and WP:CONSENSUS. This is not a situation that will end happily for you unless you can amend your ways. - Sitush (talk) 12:27, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
