Mary Beth Ellis

Mary Beth Ellis (Born July 12th, 1977) is a American professional triathlete and the current women's record holder for the fastest first-time Ironman and fastest Ironman by an American. In her first Ironman, Ellis set both records and became the third fastest woman ever at that distance with her time of 8:43:34 at Ironman Austria in 2012. [1] In addition to recent Ironman Success, Ellis competed in the Olympic trials for swimming, marathon and triathlon.
