Ways to improve Ferdinand Heinrich von Forcade de Biaix edit

Hi, I'm Fisheriesmgmt. Ricklarsen lux, thanks for creating Ferdinand Heinrich von Forcade de Biaix!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Great start! I would suggest expanding the lead section and reorganizing the "Military career" and "Family" sections to be a bit more comprehensive. I would also encourage you to add more references to this page.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Fisheriesmgmt (talk) 17:00, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi from cloudy Dorset! Thanks for that clarification. I guess we should base it on what the sources say. Having had a quick look at them, both variations seem to occur, but I haven't had time to work out which is more common. Friedrich Heinrich Ferdinand Leopold von Forcade de Biaix edit

Hi Ricklarsen lux. I am very happy about what you did for the history of the Forcade family - you seem to have researched it pretty well. Do you descend from this family as well? I just have an important information for you regarding Friedrich Heinrich Ferdinand Leopold von Forcade de Biaix: according to the genealogist Oskar Pusch (1902-1992) he was the in reality an illegitimate child and therefore not really a "Forcade". His mother was obviously Marie de Montolieu, but the father according to Pusch might have been Prince Augustus William of Prussia (1722-1758), who was also the father of Frederick The Great. Just wanted to inform you about this. Rinksburly (talk) 16:34, 21 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
