Violet's (stylized as V¡oleT's) is an Canadian love metal band from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, formed in 2015.

And yes, just by reading this you mite notice the similarities.

The band of what you call them a gothic metal or a nu metal band or whatever you want to call them, but it's hard to describe there music.

Violet's is from Newfoundland and Labrador and one of the first bands to ever start really young at the age of 15 to 17 years old.

The music and vocals are very similar as these two metal iconic bands such as Korn and Icon & The Black Roses, but if you are not a fan of their music you will not like Violet's

The vocals are very similar to Icon & The Black Roses frontmen Johnny Icon and the screaming and scatting are very similar as Korn's frontman Jonathan Davis

On January 1, 2017 | Julio released two teasers for the bands upcoming single Empty Glass of Tears.

On the other half the band announced that this is only for who are fans of Korn and Icon & The Black Roses, only for those fans

Genre

The bands genre is very hard to describe their music and style because it has more hard rock than gothic metal.

Vocals "Julio Ribeiro" calls the bands music as love metal, nu metal, dark rock and melodic gothic metal or notably as melodic gothic love metal.

Lyrics

The lyrics the the band usually posted on Facebook are dark, disturbing and horrifying to read.

Lyrics like "The Hurting", "My Sorrow" and "Wasting Time" are very dark and very heartbroken to read.

And yes, there are two song titles with hurting such as "The Hurting" and "Hurting", but different lyrics.

Empty Glass of Tears

On December 6, 2016 | Vocals "Julio Ribeiro upload photos of himself recording vocal demos and writing lyrics in his house on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Two days after he announced the tracklist, album titled and artwork on Facebook but didn't announce a possible release date of the bands upcoming EP.

December 16 | The band released a demo teaser of there upcoming debut single "Dead Lover", the music has a little mix of Finnish death metal band Children of Bodom, and the laughing has more Jonathan Davis. Ribeirojulio913 (talk) 22:24, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
