Welsh Nationalism

This articule is about Welsh nationalism, not self-government (which is, I assume, about the provisions withing the two Government of Wales Bills). See my comments on the article's talk page of 22 February. Normalmouth 05:17, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Hwyl. No, I do understand what he's done, and I accept that, if it clearly comes into the category of forking, then he shouldn't have done it. However, I think there is an argument for having two separate articles. If he doesn't take appropriate action, I'm quite prepared to do something about it, eg. change it back to a redirect and protect it. Deb 19:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

But I want to creat an article about Welsh Nationalism (which the current Welsh Self Governmnent article used to be until chaged to the present misleading title. Can you take a look at the Category:Flags_of_Wales page and tell me how many images you see in the gallery. I can only see one, the Royal Standard, the other three don't appear.

Aberdyfi

Hi Rhion.

Can I seek your opinion on the correct spelling of Aberdyfi?

The National Assembly document http://new.wales.gov.uk/topics/localgovernment/localauthorities/gwyneddcouncil/?lang=en)]] gives Aberdyfi as does the BBC site http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/northwest/sites/aberdyfi/

However User:Owain cites the Gwynedd Council document http://www.gwynedd.gov.uk/gwy_doc.asp?cat=3371&doc=9209&Language=1 as a reason to revert all changes to Aberdovey (despite the article title!!!)

I'm quite surprised at this because he spends much of his time deleting any reference to Gwynedd, Conwy, etc -- Maelor  14:35, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Cantre'r Gwaelod

Hi Rhion,

I noticed that you created the redirect page from Cantre'r Gwaelod to Lowland Hundred. I have to admit though that I've never heard it called anything but Cantre'r Gwaelod, even in English. Wikiproject Indonesia Newsletter

New newsletter WikiProject Indonesia has grown incredibly! Two months ago, when the project was created, there were only two members, but now, we have got over 20 members, and hopefully it will keep increasing. Because of this large number, now WikiProject Indonesia has it's own newsletter, which will be delivered every week on Monday morning, around 22:00 (UTC). If you have any idea and suggestions, please do not hesitate to contribute to the next newsletters. We also need to find a better banner for the newsletter, so just post it on project's talk page. With your help, we can reach the even the impossible goal! "Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita runtuh" What's new? Several ways to increase the interactions between editors have been proposed. For now, the best solution would be the IRC Channel just for WikiProject Indonesia. Please go to #wikipedia-id if you have had experiences with IRC Channels. Or read the instructions at Wikipedia:IRC. Three new barnstar design have been proposed! If you find a great editor with excellent contributions to Indonesia-related articles, give him/her a barnstar, or maybe two or three! See the barnstars at Wikiproject Indonesia Barnstars.

Articles improvements The previous two weeks were maybe the best and tiring week for some of us. On the good side, we have got a new Good Article, which is Toraja. Congratulations for all editors who have involved in the expansion. Yet we have failed to get two Good Article status, which are Tourism in Indonesia and Indonesia. However with the spirit of 1945 we will always accomplish many things! Starting this week (October 17), the collaboration durations have been extended, so now we can collaborate to improve a particular article for two weeks straight. Please leave any recommendations or suggestions on the collaboration talk page. Good article. I have a helpful tip regarding the scanned image of the men splitting slate. If you scan the newsprint or bookprint, whatever it was, at a random odd angle (not 90 or 45), then rotate it straight in the image editing software, that usually does a good job at minimizing moire effect from the screening process used in printing your original. The project so far... Last week, two more members have joined the project, and really boost the progress of articles editing. Also, while copy-editing is a very useful thing to do, researching and expanding the article, or maybe one or two sections would be extremely useful, because it is the goal of the collaboration, expanding and getting a good article status. Jonathan Davies

Hi - I hope you can help me! I am trying to add a Wiki Rugby project Infobox to the article on Jonathan Davies - without success! I added a blank version originally and filled in the data, but all it showed (in both preview and production) was his name, image and place of birth. So I then experimented with the one I found used at Andy Robinson, which has allowed the addition of more information but still won't show even basic information on his Rugby League career. Ap v/s Map

Hello! Some time ago you clarified for me the use of ap/ab, but I have further questions. I read that these ap/ab are of corse contractions of map/mab. But what I havent found is exactly when the contraction began. When did the m drop off of ap? I ask because I would like to know because someone suggested all the Welsh articals now need to be changed to read something like Llywellyn Map Gruffydd.
