I'm rather confused at how I became blocked and listed as something called a sock puppett. I was just asking about a question on this users talk page. I don't understand what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sure. I've had promblems with password security in the past so I did various searches for password security and "protect your password" across articles, users talk, usertalk, media and other check boxes on the search page and that was the firstarticle that came up.
