Speedy deletion nomination of File:The Outside World Logo.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:The Outside World Logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, Rcamua. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

• avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
• instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
• when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
• avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
• exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

• I would like to ask that you not create any entries on things that you have created or are affiliated with in some form or fashion. The problem here is that while the company and films do exist (or are at least in production), something is not automatically notable because they exist. (WP:ITEXISTS) All articles and topics require coverage in reliable, independent sources (newspapers, for example) in order to pass notability guidelines. I'd also like to ask that you please be more careful about how you phrase things. In the article about your company you wrote that you directed and created music videos for several notable performers and songs, but in a way that gives off the impression that you created the official music videos. A look shows that this isn't the case and what you made were unofficial music videos, which is a very, very different thing altogether. It might not have been your intent, but this can actually come across as a deliberate attempt to misinform others, so you need to be very specific when making claims of this nature. There's usually no need to list work of this nature in an article because in most cases, this will not be something notable enough to mention in an article unless it was reported on in the news. Even when it is mentioned in the news, there's usually no need to list each and every music video made.

Another thing to be careful about when creating things about yourself and your work is that this can very, very often be seen as an attempt to promote yourself. Like the part about misinformation, this may have been done unintentionally but this is still how it can come across. Please don't create anything about yourself on Wikipedia. The general rule of thumb is that if someone or something is notable, it will be created by someone that is not directly involved with the topic (in this case your films and company).
