Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Edible Dee edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Edible Dee, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. My edit conflicted decline CaptainEek is too quick for me edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Uhm, so hey! I’ve been wrongfully blocked. It’s totally my fault though, I forgot to add the thing on my talk page where I was supposed to put the fact that I’m paid to make these articles. I don’t have any knowledge on who James is whatsoever, and I’m a young freelance writer, just trying to save up for things in the future while I have time. If i get unblocked and I’m able to remake the article, for sure I’ll make sure to add the fact I’m paid to do this, not to be a sockpuppet. Thank you!

Decline reason:

A WP:PAID declaration is not a permit to advertise on Wikipedia. Contrarily, you should usually not edit about such subjects directly. As your writing is pure ad copy, I doubt you will be able to edit constructively. There have been a few PAID editors whose work was encyclopedic. That was pure ad copy. As a suggestion, you could describe what content was promotional and unacceptable in an encyclopedia. Just a thought. Also, subjects of encyclopedia articles must be WP:notability requirements, such as WP:ANYBIO. "All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." At the very least you will need to disclose all of your clients on WIkipedia. "Find out who you are working for. Ask for the name of the individual, the name of the organization the individual works for (if applicable), and what articles the individual wants you to edit or create.... Comply with Wikipedia's policy on ... editing with a conflict of interest. Do not sign a non-disclosure agreement or work through an organization that requires non-disclosure. Wikipedia's policies require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliations and forbid you from editing if you fail to make these disclosures." Wikipedia is a community of volunteers building the world's largest encyclopedia. You will need to convince us that your editing will further that end. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:32, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Since you seem to understand that you were supposed to disclose your employer, you will need to do that prior to getting unblocked. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 06:24, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
