Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Rome to Italy (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:34, 3 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Also note that the Italy article is already long and confusing enough (over the 100kb guideline of WP:TOOBIG), there is no need to pollute it more with dozens of unnecessary images. If you analyze the latest edits, people are cleaning up the clutter. Fbergo (talk) 12:09, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Mistaken 2012–2014 license of Sonic X edit

I'm afraid that the 2012-2014 license of Sonic X was incorrected, because Sonic X was licensed by Saban Brands from 2012 through 2014 and not by Buena Vista International. If you know that please change that article back what it was, thanks. 2A02:1810:B406:6D00:95FF:BDCD:8726:AC33 20:55, 8 March 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:1810:B406:6D00:95FF:BDCD:8726:AC33 (talk) Reply

"The Little Prince" on "List of literary works by number of translations" edit

Thanks for your efforts to keep Wikipedia current and correct. On 24 April 2017 you reversed my update of The Little Prince on the page List of literary works by number of translations, without an edit summary, and without adding any source of your own, just restoring the outdated source that had been there previously. Please provide an explanation for your edit on the talk page Talk:List_of_literary_works_by_number_of_translations#The_Little_Prince. Lee Choquette (talk) 18:21, 25 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Gareth Griffith-Jones. I wanted to let you know that your recent contributions to Vito Corleone have been undone because they are not constructive. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Cheers!

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Italy, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.--Joobo (talk) 20:14, 8 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Luigi— because it did not appear constructive. Orphaned non-free image File:Sonic X intro.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sonic X intro.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:35, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Sonic X intro.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Sonic X intro.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
