Speedy deletion nomination of Swami Sachchidanand

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Swami Sachchidanand requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. buffbills7701 17:53, 23 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Swadhyay Parivar

edit

Hello Rakesh.goyal, I've got your thank you notification and you are most welcome. I've seen your interest in the Swadhyay Parivar article, particularly your work in the "Criticism" section. As you've probably noticed, the article is in a bad state currently with only the criticism section properly sourced and referenced. I was planning to remove the content tagged with [citation needed] but that would not look good on the article, that too having only criticism and nothing else informative about it.

Would you consider taking up the job of improving this article? I could guide you if you need any help. Here are two sources which you can start on – Swadhyay Movement and Swadhyaya: A Movement Experience in India - August 2003, these two seem reliable enough. All you have to do is summarise whatever is written there in your own words and add it to the article, citing wherever necessary and without violating the WP:NPOV. With these two references, I think a decent amount of content can be added, if not a lot. After you do this, maybe then we can decide what to do with the rest of the content which does not seem appropriate or is not referenced.

If you don't have time or are just not interested, it's perfectly fine. This article is not that important and I doubt many read it (other than the few who vandalise it), also there is no deadline. Feel free to ask me anything on my talk page or just over here. Sincerely, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 17:57, 23 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
