Contributions to "Optical disc"

edit

Hey Rajaratna,

I noticed that you made a contribution to the "Optical disc" article, and although it is of course much appreciated, I have to call into question the following statement:

"The design of first version of the CD's was to hold up to 75 minutes of music which was requiring 3GB of storage."

Given that this contradicts certain things that I, at least, had thought to have known about CDs, I must ask - You wouldn't happen to have a citation for that statement, would you?

Thanks, James.DenholmTalk to me... 09:56, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
