Osteopathy definition being not neutral

Hello,

The current definition of osteopathy shown on Wikipedia is not neutral, and is extremely biased against it. This is why I defined in a completely neutral way, but this has been rejected. Please explain what part of my definition was not neutral, as opposed to the complete biased definition currently on the page.

Many thanks, 89.213.14.35 (talk) 13:21, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

I don't believe it matters, as my revert was based on your unreferenced opinions on the matter, and I concluded that you were not adhering to a neutral point of view (as per WP:NPOV). If you wish to rewrite parts of the article, please do so with cited sources - and consult with other editors in the talk page. REDACTED403 (talk) 13:29, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
What I wrote was a completely unopinionated definition… 89.213.14.35 (talk) 13:39, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
I disagree, but even if it was - you still provided no sources WP:PROVEIT REDACTED403 (talk) 13:42, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

Source

I don't think lack of a reliable source is the problem here. It's just vandalism. Drmies (talk) 13:25, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

Based on this prior edit I'm inclined to believe you. I assumed at the time that it could have been a good faith mistake - i was wrong. -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:33, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
OK--thanks. I checked the filter log too and blocked them. Drmies (talk) 14:48, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

MOND

Can you please attempt to explain what about this phrase is in any way shape or form considered "less than neutral" ? This study was refuted by Banik and collaborators in a rigorous and highly confident manner. ChrisletWiki (talk) 14:14, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

I reverted the edit as the use of "rigorous and highly confident" seemed to come from a non neutral place. Unless some other secondary source called it that, I don't think it follows wikipedia policy (WP:NPOV) to refer to the source as that. Let me know if I misunderstood your intention. -REDACTED403 (talk) 14:21, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
Then just remove the phrase, not the source or intent. ChrisletWiki (talk) 14:23, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
Indeed. I apologise for being too hasty and not assuming good faith. -REDACTED403 (talk) 14:26, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

Please explain why you are removing Company edits. UTANCXO (talk) 11:37, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

You seem to have a conflict of interest, and a personal connection to the company which is influencing your edits to the page. Please refrain from editing pages you have a connection to, or you will be blocked -REDACTED403 (talk) 11:38, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

aborigines and subincision

The scientists never could explain the ritual of penil subincision and splitting of the aborigines. But each ritual of all volks have real and practical causes and benfits, also this extreme mutilation. The life-situation of the aborigines over thausands of years was extrem hardly in the desert with less water and food. They needed a sure way to protect before pregnancy and growing clans and so they found this very easy but sure way of subincision of the boys penis. Learning by doning! Its obviously, when you will alive it - than its suddenly crystal clear. From the desc you cant find the solve of this quuestion!

All other explainings, which are written in the literature, will be speculations, and will look a bit laughable in opposite to this existencial condition. Hannes48 (talk) 12:04, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

Rollback

Hi REDACTED403. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Fastily 09:26, 5 December 2023 (UTC)

What is not neutral about my changes? — Precedingunsigned comment added by Care13 (talkcontribs) 12:50, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

It reads like an advertisement, please don't play dumb here, its obvious what you're doing. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:54, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
What is Wikipedia for? These are descriptions and accurately cited. I don't appreciate the insinuation that I am "playing dumb." Care13 (talk) 12:57, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
Nearly all the material you added is just verbatim from their website, which is pretty much a giant advertisement for the ministry. It is not appropriate to add content like that in that way into any article on Wikipedia. See WP:NPOV -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:04, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
So under the "Programs" section where else would you gather that information? 2601:281:D17F:2570:12EC:934A:F91F:D338 (talk) 13:14, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
Generally it's best to not solely rely on one source (especially in this case, to avoid bias). You have to consider if those programs are even notable enough to be mentioned. I would start a conversation on the talk page asking for help because I don't have experience editing these kinds of pages. -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:27, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
Ok, will do. This is another Christian Ministry based in Colorado Springs and it seems to cite the organizations website often. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Navigators_(organization) 2601:281:D17F:2570:5EB3:B47E:222A:21A5 (talk) 16:16, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Insignia

After having my little indent removed from the Xbox page, i would love to have some improvements and suggestions for this page. Its a huge work in progress, and for some reason never went into drafts which was a big worry for me. If you can, do you think you can make some improvements before i re-add my indent to the Xbox page? Thanks! Insignia (Xbox) Unbreakify (talk) 11:07, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

Here are some sources I've found. I'm not too well versed in article creation myself, but these should definitely help:

Pseudo-range multilateration

Hello, could you please explain why my edits are less than neutral? The previously described solutions for closed form TOT or TDOA multilateration fail to mention that they aren't properly designed for noisy measurements. The more correct solution was discovered a decade later, so I mentioned it along with several papers and advances on the topic. RChrabieh (talk) 13:06, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

I reverted the edit because you seem to have a conflict of interest as you were part of the writing of the source you referenced - which is against Wikipedia policy. -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:41, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
OK, understood. Thank you. RChrabieh (talk) 14:35, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership

I updated the page which was severely outdated. I am the Communications Manager, so I am involved with the organisation. However, since we are a small NGO I do not expect anyone else to update the page, as was the case over the last years. The information contained on the page was inaccurate, so I used information from the REEEP website to update it. If I don't, who else will? Could you please update it instead of completly deleting all my work? It is now back to being inaccurate and very old, with the old logo and wrong information. Erinstewart-REEEP (talk) 12:35, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Updating logos and crucial information / stats about a company is pretty much always allowed on Wikipedia, so you are totally fine to add that logo back in if you want. The corporate speak that you added in that reads as promotional and heavily biased is not allowed however. Anything else you'd like to be changed should be asked through the talk page so your conflict of interest can be managed properly. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:57, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
ok understood - I will tone it down and make requests on the talk page directly Erinstewart-REEEP (talk) 13:08, 11 March 2024 (UTC)

Edenderry Wikipedia page query

Hi there , I'm pretty new here and would appreciate your thoughts. You recently reverted my addition of an external link to the "education" section of the Edenderry page. Would an external link refering to the "history" subpage be suitable as it provides information relating to historical education at large in Edenderry? Thanks in advance 😃. Xcalliber21 (talk) 13:35, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

@Xcalliber21: That should be great! Looking at the article, you'd have to create an "External links" heading underneath the see also section and put your link there. Thanks for improving the wiki :) -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:44, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

I wasn't promoting nothing on my edit...

Hi,

I recently noticed you changed my edit beacuse "promoting yourself". I AM NOT. Do you think this: Raven Brooks Online (RBO) is an upcoming game from the Hello Neighbor franchise that offers players the opportunity to step into the shoes of either the Protector or an Intruder. As an Intruder, players must strategically steal loot from the Protector's home and other Intruders while navigating through a highly emergent multiplayer sandbox environment. Developed by the creator of Hello Neighbor, RBO promises to provide an immersive and thrilling experience for players looking for a unique and challenging gameplay experience. Raven Brooks Online entered public playtesting on February 16, 2023, but was closed just 3 days later. - Is promoting my self?! This game is not on the wikipedia page of Hello Neighbor so I was just trying to put it!

Take back my edit,

Please Caiodevvv (talk) 13:06, 14 April 2024 (UTC)

Your edit reads as promotional pr speak that the developers would put on their website to attract investors. Definitely not appropriate on a Wikipedia article -REDACTED403 (talk) 13:13, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
So, put it in but take the part that you think "attracts inventors". Caiodevvv (talk) 18:08, 16 April 2024 (UTC)

Geometry Dash

Hello! I'm free to converse on how we can link the references to the page Geometry Dash/#Community. Most of the references are either community made or on a Fandom page. Please tell me ways of referencing for the page. Gloucesternairobi (talk) 12:18, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for reaching out. As a Geometry Dash fan myself, my issues with your addition mainly come down to the fact that Wikipedia doesn't have to include everything regarding a subject. All of the text about memes (lobotomy levels / fire in the hole) is irrelevant, especially since it will be dated very quickly in a few more months or years (as most memes are).
Other videogame pages don't have entries on memes, or specifically talking about mod loaders (like the Minecraft page). Minecraft objectively has a bigger modding scene than geometry dash, so it makes sense to give a nod to it - but it is not needed at all on the gd page.
BUT, I've found a decent source for your Top 1 heading here: https://www.pockettactics.com/geometry-dash/demonlist. I think that everything except the Top 1 content needs to be removed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! :D -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:40, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
@Gloucesternairobi: pinging you because I forgot in the original message -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:41, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
I will try rework on the community page to make it more Wikipedia-standard. Thanks! Gloucesternairobi (talk) 15:51, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
Also, i read some guidelines about video games, does this mean i can create a page for Geode? "Geode (Geometry Dash)" Gloucesternairobi (talk) 15:58, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Username (it's OK I guess)

Hi,

I was using Twinkle to revert some edits, then it said "REDACTED 403 was the last user to edit". I thought Twinkle was not working as it should, and then realized it was an actual user (you!). Nice username!
