Cyber Security Awareness

Cybersecurity is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. It aims to protect individuals’ and organizations’ systems, applications, computing devices, sensitive data and financial assets against simple and annoying computer viruses, sophisticated and costly ransomware attacks, and everything in between. Cybersecurity specialists should have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related subject, and experience working in cybersecurity, such as an internship or apprenticeship, is important. Expert-level IT skills are a must, including knowledge of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and automation to fight cyberthreats more effectively and minimize the impact of cyberattacks when they occur.
