You wrote to me "You've ignored prior warnings and are clearly interested in shilling solely for markprice dawt com."

1. I've never received any prior warnings about anything.

2. What is "markprice dawt com"

3. The Art Gallery is professionally put together (543 free images to browse with free classical music)...why do you consider it spam? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jzhuo (talkcontribs)

  • You received your first warning at 23.44 UTC; you continued to add links to that domain after that time (much longer after that time - 0.02, 0.11, ...).
  • markprice bla bla is the domain name for which you're shilling, without my needlessly writing out the entire domain name so that it might inadvertently get indexed and associated with Wikipedia.
  • Had, in some alternate universe, you'd not obviously been pushing this domain in previously added links and you'd only added the gallery link - an editor might think to themselves, 'ok, maybe that doesn't violate ELNO'. Taken, however, in combination with your prior acts - your actions take on the auspice of advertising for a specific website.
  • In addition to likely not having read ELNO prior to your link adding campaign, you don't appear to understand how one signs additions on discussion pages, notices messages left for them, nor starts new thread topics on discussion pages. It would behoove your editing cause were you to understand Wikipedia prior to making edits.

I clicked on "new discussion" before, but it doesn't show "new discussion" in preview window.
What is "ELNO" and where do I find information on it. There is nothing under search.
It's a pity that one of the best free Art Galleries on the Web cannot be shared with Wiki users because of a "two reference limit" policy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jzhuo (talkcontribs) 01:27, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Seriously, learn how to use Wikipedia; this is the last time i'm going to format your discussion edits (and luckily there's a bot running around to do things which you seem incapable - like signing your addition). Beyond that, i already referenced ELNO in the first warning i left (which you obviously didn't read... kwality).
This discussion is finished; if you really believe that you're not running a promotion for that web site, and really believe that your links belong in an article, [like i've already said to you once: ] bring it up on the article's discussion page. Quaeler (talk) 01:32, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

editing of page/deleating of offensive images on 'lamborghini murcielago'

The images i deleated appeared to show someone waring a cock-ring. I didn't really see this as relevant to the article.

The other edits that have been flagged were not done by myself but by another college who has access to this computer

Spare me, you deleted no images. Quaeler (talk) 16:02, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

XKCD

Yeah, part of the reason I stopped really trying to edit Wikipedia actively is because of stupid crap like trivia / pop culture references. I only came to the article to check whether the drooling XKCD fans had gotten to it yet. It was refereshing to see you fighting against it though, typically I'm the only one. We'll probably be blamed for edit warring if we revert it to much (more than 3 times), but, let's both keep an eye on it and try to keep that unwelcome little bit out of there — TheBilly(Talk) 09:35, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Since i've been around, i have only slightly brushed against cult-like-idiocy against this so, i guess, i count myself on a lucky streak. I'm totally heartened to see that there are other people who think this is total schmutz too. Thanks much for piping up - Quaeler (talk) 17:12, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree that the pop culture references are silly, but they're there so.... get rid of the section or just deal —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.108.254.94 (talk) 18:49, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for stopping by Wikipedia.. Quaeler (talk) 18:55, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Warning to 89.215.7.177

Don't you think that your warning to 89.215.7.177 was a bit harsh and reactionary? I know that s/he did exactly what the message said not to do, and that it can be frustrating dealing with edits like that (especially from IPs). But s/he made the edit without a history of disruptive edits or vandalism; please remember to always assume good faith. Thanks. DKqwerty (talk) 19:18, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

I think good faith is a bunch of crap; i assume bad faith as noted above, but i understand that not everyone wears those coloured glasses, so i appreciate the feedback. Quaeler (talk) 22:31, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Ray Dotoratos and BorisMule

I've also warned BorisMule re his vandalism of your talk and user page - let me know if it resumes.

Separate to that, the Ray Dotoratos argument over tags should be resolved via discussion on the talk page. WP:BRD usually works OK in situations like this. The article is in pretty poor shape and I don't personally disagree wtih the tags, but their retention or otherwise should be determined via consensus rather than reversion.

I've briefly protected the article to encourage discussion, and would welcome your input on its tallk page about the problems with it and why the tags should be retained. Euryalus (talk) 07:00, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

In the time it took me to type the above, someone else has blocked BorisMule for 24 hours. Hopefully that addresses the vandalism for now. Euryalus (talk) 07:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks very much for your assistance on this one - i appreciate having more eyes on the matter. Quaeler (talk) 07:33, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

No vandalism intended, the same conversation appears in the new section no sense having it there twice.

One of the more dumb things i've read

Um, no. I'm sorry, but you're wrong. I never made an unconstructive edit. I saw no activity on the merger discussion for months. I explained myself on the positive liberty discussion page. An apology would be nice. 24.174.82.195 (talk) 11:46, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

To recap: you appear to believe that your comment on a talk page not linked to the discussion of the text you deleted allows you to delete a template and be too lazy to simply type a reason in that text box right above the save buttons. I'll tell you what would be nice... That being said, i think it's fantastic you've gone back after the deletion, after my warning, to then actually put something on the talk page. Does doing the right thing eight and a half hours after the fact earn you a shiny star and an apology? "Um, no." Quaeler (talk) 16:31, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Vandal

Users have the right to remove warnings from their pages. Do not restore them once removed, lest you be blocked along with him. --King ♣ Talk 16:03, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Ya, plus at this point i think i've reached a burnout point with policy choices.. seems like time for a hiatus. Thanks... Quaeler (talk) 16:10, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey man, I know the feeling. In case there was any confusion, I didn't mean to sound threatening, I was just making sure you knew the policy, in the interest of not overstepping it. --King ♣ Talk 16:18, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

My addition to Alice in Wonderland was not meant to be vandalism. I added the newest version that is set to come out next year so people could add to it. please tell me how to do this correctly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikilivia (talkcontribs) 23:28, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I started a talk page on John Zewizz http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Theebradmiller/John_zewizz

Please help me go about this the right way. I promise to behave this time. I just need to learn Wiki etiquette! Theebradmiller (talk) 21:52, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi. You warned the above user[1] back in April of being blocked for indiscriminate content blanking but they are still doing it. I reverted this[2] at the article Joan Baez. Cuddlyable3 (talk) 18:01, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Works based on Alice in Wonderland

I see you had a concern for some of the content in 2009... well, a whole lot of content has just been deleted. Would you like to have a look at the page, history, and Talk, and give your views? Thanks. -- Evertype· 19:22, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
