Welcome!

edit

Hello, Promote justice, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Akhtar Aly Kureshy, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   — Jeff G. ツ 15:55, 17 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Irfan Ahmed Saeed

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Irfan Ahmed Saeed, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Promote justice. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Un assiolo (talk) 20:22, 17 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Akhtar Aly Kureshy, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 21:29, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your advice, the peofile in question is cleared and approved as Wiki project so i removed it as i seen thousands of profiles which are complete and old ones but unnecessarily some objections templates are placed on these profiles even in some cases eight to ten years passed with these template but no body check that.... Whereas viewers of Wikipedia and public who uses Wikipedia for information, consider it a bad impression. Once the profile approved as Wikiproject there should not be any objection or maintainence template, I think... Thank you for your guidance and support.   Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! 220 of ßorg 11:09, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Overlinking, etc

  Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edits to, or when you created Mohammad Junaid (journalist), you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking.
   In addition, your capitalisation is often wrong, both in text and section headings. Please also note, per WP:REFPUNCT punctuation like commas , and full stops . come before references, not after. See my edit fixing some of these issues, here . 220 of ßorg 12:31, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Draft pages

Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. 220 of ßorg 12:39, 11 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Image use

I would strongly suggest that you stop putting images of the same court buildings, (like the Supreme Court of Pakistan) or whatever, on each and every judge's and/or lawyers(?) biography page (BLP) as they are about the people, and these images are not really directly related to the person's history. 220 of ßorg 12:31, 13 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your valuable advice.... Buildings of Lahore High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan are big one including the offices of Advocate General Punjab.... Attorney General for Pakistan... Pakistan Bar Council... Lahore High Court Bar Association and their addresses are same so the office holders of these departments may be identified through these famous buildings as I placed the pictures of Lahore High Court or Supreme Court of Pakistan just to make a good profile, if you say not to place... Okay I will try Promote justice (talk) 17:07, 14 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
Promote Justice, when you reply on a talkpage, please indent your reply by putting a colon : before your answer, and add another one for each following answer. See WP:Indent. I have added one to your reply, above .
It's all very well to thank me for my edits and for my "valuable advice" but you don't seem to be taking my advice, or anyones elses. You are creating a lot of work for other editors, which is why I suggested that you create article drafts, not go direct to the articles main space. The edits I have done, should have been done by you.
Your biographical articles (WP: BLP), as first written, are all very similar, except with different names and dates. For example, "Mushir contributed and demonstrated a significant role in the Bar and society, " is on the latest page you created.
• What did he contribute?
• How did he contribute?
• What did he do that was significant?
The same, or a very similar, sentence was on several other pages you created, with a different person's name. It adds very little, if any, information to the page. See WP:Weasel words. This page was also incorrectly named as Justice Mushir Alam, not Mushir Alam (judge) per normal WP practice. See the difference between your original page, and what it looks like after being edited by several other editors, some of them very experienced, here.
I very strongly suggest you get more general editing experience before creating any more pages of any type. 220 of ßorg 09:31, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
