Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:24, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

February 2016 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Youth Time. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Your recent editing history at Youth Time shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
In addition Please read my comments at Talk:Youth Time and take them on board. Voceditenore (talk) 13:54, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia. SmartSE (talk) 13:52, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Voceditenore (talk) 15:21, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please explain edit

You left a note on my talk page here in which you said: I see you've overwritten all of my edits on the page.. This account's first edit per its contribs was at 08:39, 23 February 2016‎, which is after I made those changes, per the article's history.

Under what accounts have you edited Wikipedia before? Not answering this is a violation of WP:SOCK and is a blockable. Please answer. Thanks.

In addition, this account name violates our username policy as it reflects an organizational position, not a single human. I will give you notice of that below. Jytdog (talk) 15:32, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Username violation edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Programsyt", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 15:37, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

February 2016 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 16:44, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
The edit warring at Youth Time was also discussed at a noticeboard. It is unlikely there will be further action taken so long as you follow Wikipedia policy in the future. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:21, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
One thing though, EdJohnston--user name. Programsyt, it is clear to me now that your name "means" Programs (at) Youth Time, and you really need to change that, or I will have to block this account indefinitely for the violation of our user name policy. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 18:35, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
