July 2015 edit

Your recent editing history at Delhi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. The material you are repeatedly adding is undue for the lead of the article, it might merit a mention further down in the article, but you will have to take it to the talk page of the article, and get support for it there, before adding it. If you have any question in your life, you can ask it here at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions. Moreover for referencing help, see Help:Referencing for beginners, Help:Referencing for beginners without using templates, Help:Referencing for beginners with citation templates. In short I will tell you that, we have to attach reference at the end of the sentence, not at the top of the article. For example I will attach reference at the end of this sentence.<ref>post here link</ref> --Human3015 knock knock • 11:49, 22 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your edits on Rajasthan edit

Hello. I have reverted your latest edits on Rajasthan, and will through the rest you've made there too, since Wikipedia articles cannot be used as sources per Wikipedia's reliable sources policy and the section about questionable sources in Wikipedia's verifiability policy. And the same goes for jatland.com since it's a Wiki where anyone can edit. Thomas.W talk 11:34, 23 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions notice edit

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

July 2015 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Aligarh district. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Warning for edits with fake references, references that not in any way support the claims you made. Thomas.W talk 16:52, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   Philg88 talk 17:18, 24 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Jat people without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sitush (talk) 06:57, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

That was my mistake. My apologies. - Sitush (talk) 08:29, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your latest edits on Jat people edit

Hello. I have reverted your latest edits since Jutes, a Germanic people in Northern Europe, has absolutely nothing to do with Jats in India, and also removed your edits on Jutes. Check your facts before making silly edits like that. Thomas.W talk 09:49, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

And just to add to that, if you persist with inserting these fringe claims into articles, a further and much longer block will follow. Edit sensibly, please.  Philg88 talk 11:03, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
