June 2021 edit

Hello, I'm HMSLavender. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Astronomical radio source—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 02:38, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Was that by accident? I noticed that you reverted it (I wanted to update the Ganymede image from Galileo to Juno). PlanetsForLife 02:40, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

August 2021 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Hurricane Henri, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please stop forecasting Henri's dissipation date. The storm is very much still active, and it is not even August 25 yet! The dissipated parameter should only be filled it once the storm fully dissipates. Destroyer (Alternate account) 16:33, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

[1] (same source), no longer classified as gale, just an very broad area of low pressure (there is a similar pressured area near the top left), [2], rain values don't exceed 0.7 in either (as opposed to a few hours ago). [3], clouds merge with another extratropical cyclone at 00:00 September 4 and break down further throughout the day. PlanetsForLife 01:46, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2021 Atlantic hurricane season into Hurricane Larry. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. This also occurred with Draft:Hurricane Sam, but the template can only include 1 article. Tagging pages for speedy deletion edit

Hello, PlanetsForLife,

Before tagging any more pages for speedy deletion, please review Criteria for Speedy Deletion, particular WP:G13 so you understand the criteria better and when they apply. CSD G13 doesn't apply until six months since the last human edit so these drafts weren't eligible yet. And now that the pages have been edited today, they won't be eligible again for CSD G13 for six more months, until March 10, 2022. Liz Read! Talk! 22:06, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

PlanetsForLife (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

First, I am NOT User:Andrew5. Special:Contribs/Andrew5 shows a completely different editing style from me. I am also not HT495 considering my first contributions from Special:Contribs/108.46.173.109 were Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects and categories and then Astronomy related topics. I created an account 6 months after editing as an IP. My first contributions are also similar to the last contributions of that IP. Hiding probably good edits for the IP shows nothing as well as this account. "that your conduct (under any account or IP address) is not connected in any way with the block (this can happen if a block is aimed at resolving a separate situation and you are unintentionally blocked as a result because you use the same IP range)." Yes, I was unintentionally blocked as a result of using the same IP range. My block is also not necessary to prevent disruption, I have never done intentional vandalism! PlanetsForLife 13:38, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Since you are alleged to be the sock of a globally blocked user, I don't think any admin here would dare unblock you; the consequences would be ... well, better off not thinking about them. You must request unblock at meta, or through the private channels mentioned in the block notice above. — Daniel Case (talk) 20:38, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
