Welcome to Wikipedia! I've reverted all or part of your recent edits, not because they were not made in good faith or even that they were inappropriate. However, this particular article, the centerpiece of the Latter-day Saint articles on Wikipedia, is watched and very, very carefully debated. Any significant change is evaluated to ensure a neutral point of view and an appropriate introduction to the Church, its history, and place in the modern world. Material presenting a pro-LDS viewpoint and a anti-LDS viewpoint must be carefully balanced. LDS scriptural references are often of considerable concern to non-LDS editors. In addition, the editors of this article try to keep it a reasonable length, and transfer information on many topics to other articles. Please go to the article talk page, where I placed a couple of your sentences for discussion and give your opinion. This is standard practice on this article, and on many other articles when editors may have differing ideas. There is an LDS user group here, Wikipedia:WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement, which establishes project guidelines and discuss presentation methods. It looks like you would be a good member. Best wishes. WBardwin (talk) 05:13, 24 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
So............... you don't want to talk things over? Concensus among editors is vitally important in Wikipedia's philosophy and operation. I would encourage you to go to the talk page when your edits are reverted or changed. I will not revert again, but I will post your edit on the talk page for discussion. Pepwave, I just posed here a number of specific questions regarding a few edits on the talk page of that article, and I just wanted to direct your attention there. Do you mind please addressing them there? Thanks in advance. COGDEN20:14, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
