March 2022 edit

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Uralo-Siberian languages, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.   You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Uralo-Siberian languages. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. InterstateFive (talk) - just another roadgeek 23:18, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Renaming categories edit

Hi, I notice that you're manually changing Category:Mints (currency) to Category:Mints of Europe across a number of articles, but the new category doesn't exist. If you want to create a new category only for European mints, you should create the category and add it to articles rather than renaming an existing category. Thanks. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Landforms of Székely Land edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Landforms of Székely Land indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Category:Video games based on Finno-Ugric mythology edit

Hello, P12k,

If you believe a category should be deleted, renamed or merged, please do not remove all of its contents. That is called "emptying out of process" and is highly discouraged. Instead, nominate the category for action at Categories for discussion. Categories are different than articles in that they exist in a interrelated hierarchy so what affects one category can affect others. Please do this in the future. Thank you. Liz Read!
