My background is computer science so editing wikipedia markup is a nice distraction.

Donate to Wikipedia - it is a great resource for everyone, with contributions spanning far more of our world than print encyclopedias, and blessedly devoid of ad cruft. There are some significant Orwellian memory hole Nineteen Eighty-Four issues with over-editing more than just erroneous information but overall Wikipedia can make a significant difference in our collective cognitive capabilities.

Loci Memory Palace moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Loci Memory Palace, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 09:35, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Editors are far too restricive (Using the Memory hole) edit

I have been contributing article updates and funds to Wikipedia for the past ten years, since 2008. I treasure Wikipedia as a place to look for useful information without distractions, and really like the approach that it is a dynamic encyclopedia that grows with contributions from everyone, not just a select few. This is what makes it useful, it has far more relevant and up to date articles on important topics than commercial encyclopedias or other references. But over time I have decided the editors are a significant impediment, and far too restrictive. They react to new posts with knee jerk intuition about topics they do not really understand. The editors have too much power that they abuse to squash speech and the interchange of information - the Editors need to extensively prove a page should be removed before they are allowed to remove it or push it into draft Limbo. The burden of extensive proof for removal or draft status must be moved to Editors and not be required of contributors.

Your draft article, Draft:Loci Memory Palace edit

Hello, P.primo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Loci Memory Palace".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Interstellarity T 🌟 15:02, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
