Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Disneychannelhits2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 17:59, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of User:OutbackKidd

edit

User:OutbackKidd, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:OutbackKidd and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:OutbackKidd during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 19:39, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

MfD Closed as Moot

edit

Although you really shouldn't have removed the MfD tag from your userpage, your blanking of the page really made the matter moot. Copies of articles in userspace are frowned upon. If you do have them, best to put them on a subpage with a clear edit summary such as Copying XYZ to here for a re-write and then show active work on it. I noticed you were working on the article in question, so I don't think there was anything abusive about what you did. Just need to make it clear to others what's going on and where the article came from (even if the name should make it clear - the article could always get deleted or moved and then there's the GFDL issue). Always good to put {{userpage}} at the top of any userpage, especially one that could look like an article too. You should review the discussion and my closing rationale at Wikipedia:MFD#User:OutbackKidd. Thanks.--Doug.(talk contribs) 06:07, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
