Page Curation update

Hey all :). We've just deployed another set of features for Page Curation. They include flyouts from the icons in Special:NewPagesFeed, showing who reviewed an article and when, a listing of this in the "info" flyout, and a general re-jigging of the info flyout - we've also fixed the weird bug with page_titles_having_underscores_instead_of_spaces in messages sent to talkpages, and introduced CSD logging! As always, these features will need some work - but any feedback would be most welcome. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 18:18, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

Adopt-a-user

Hi OrenBochman. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.

If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.

If you want to remain in the project and can currently take on more adoptees, there is a serious backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user; it would be enormously helpful if you could take on one or two of the users there. Please do keep an eye on the project for upcoming changes, we could use your opinions and your help! Yunshui  09:13, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Yunshui, I've setup a new adoption school this month. I am in the process of researching improving the adoption program. I am busy with my relocation but should be able to take a number of adoptess in the next few days. BO | Talk 12:23, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Grand. The template message above was sent to every adopter in the project (including several I knew were active anyway), so please don't worry - it's not me saying, "Adopt some people now, dammit!", it's just an attempt to work out who's still interested in being part of the project. Worm That Turned and I have weeded through the list of potential adoptees and whittled out the inactive/disinterested/already adopted ones, so the backlog's not as great as it was this morning; no need for us to be at Defcon2 any longer. Just as an aside, if you do take on new adoptees, please make sure you change the {{adopt me}} template to {{adopted}} so as to remove them from the list of users actively seeking adoption (adopters failing to do that was a major cause of the backlog!). Cheers for your hard work! Yunshui  12:30, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi OrenBochman. Thanks for agreeing to stay on at Adopt-a-user. I've recently updated the list of adopters and I have included you, per your original comments on that page and your comments at User:Yunshui/Overhaul/Adopters staying on. You can see your new profile at the list of adopters. Why not update your profile with an image and maybe have another look at your description? You can also include a list of any adoptees you currently have. If you are also willing to mentor problematic users, possibly as part of a conditional unblock, please include "mentorship=yes" in your profile. Thanks again for all your help. Page Curation newsletter

Hey OrenBochman. This will be, if not our final newsletter, one of the final ones :). After months of churning away at this project, our final version (apart from a few tweaks and bugfixes) is now live. Changes between this and the last release include deletion tag logging, a centralised log, and fixes to things like edit summaries.

Hopefully you like what we've done with the place; suggestions for future work on it, complaints and bugs to the usual address :). We'll be holding a couple of office hours sessions, which I hope you'll all attend. Many thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 11:15, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Restore Rollback Rights

Around four months have gone by. Unless you still oppose it, please restore my rollback capability. BO | Talk 07:50, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I went back and re-appraised myself of the past, re-reading your entire edit history since May, and including the AN/I discussion here.
That was in June.
Last month your edits are almost entirely creating adoption subpages; the month before that is almost entirely in userspace; and the month before that (July) I see primarily edits to XfD, and AWB use.
I'm just not seeing enough information to make an assessment to determine if past concerns have been alleviated.
However, rather than merely decline, I'm going to ask User:Worm That Turned to look this over (WP:3PO). I respect their opinion, and I see that you have recently interacted with them concerning the adoption program. - jc37 16:41, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi OrenBochman. Having looked over the situation, I don't believe returning automated tools to you at this juncture is prudent. Your reaction to events at the time did not imply that you accepted any wrongdoing, and your work since does not show that you have tried to learn or gain any experience in the areas you were having trouble with. This is clearly indicated by the fall in monthly edits from ~2000 to ~50. Now, those ~50 edits per month have been great, I really appreciate the work you're doing in adoption, and I encourage you to carry on - we need more editors willing to help new contributors learn, and I do believe you are doing a good job at that. If you want to get rollback back, then work on manual reversions for a few months, prove to us that you've learnt how to handle the sort of situations that caused you trouble in the past. WormTT(talk) 09:22, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Worm & Jc37 - I don't think that we require people to post public apologies whenever they have a difficulty or disagreement - quite the opposite - policy forbids these requests. I you say there is not enough evidence and no complaints, it indicates that there are are problems, and you could also assume good faith.
When Rollback was removed it was "claimed" to be due to bitty behavior and 2 months break was suggested - nothing more. I have done what was requested and for the record, in this time I've used twinkle and I have has only praise for my anti-vandalism work. As per your suggestions I respectfully decline to do "probationary" anti-vandalism work under the circumstances, it makes no sense to jumps though more hoops just to support the community with further gnoming.
I also don't like these unsolicited reviews and as such I will not ask for further right. BO | Talk 10:53, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Adoption request

Hi I'm Anna2123456789 but you can call me Anna. I have been a Wikipedian for 2 years and I got blocked for 4 months and I went on a hiatus for about a year and I started actively edited about May 2012. Recently I have had a few issues with image uploading etc. One user suggested finding a mentor. I checked out the project and thought you would be best suited to what I need. Thank you --Anna2123456789 (talk) 17:37, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Anna2123456789, thanks for contacting me.
I have has a look at your work:
  • you have been editing for a fairly long time.
  • unlike many new comers you have succeeded in creating articles that have lasted which is great!
  • The "community" has taken notice of your work and has attempted to correct some of your mistakes but this has not been done in a friendly and informative way.
I have looked at your your talk page and contribution history and have noticed that:
  • You could communicate more effectively.
  • You need to learn about Wikipedia's policies on copyright of images.
  • You would benefit from a better understanding of Wikipedia's policy on consensus.
While these are relatively minor issues - together they paint a negative picture to other Wikipedians.
If you will commit to staying out of trouble, and learning how to contribute to Wikipedia without causing unnecessary disruption s, I'll be be glad to be your coach!
To get started you can add the following {{Adoptee|OrenBochman}} to your user page. BO | Talk 09:30, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for accepting this mentorship request OrenBochman. Anna2123456789 is certianly keen, so I hope you will be able to help her with the copyright and communication issues. Good luck to you both! --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:37, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Template:VisualConsensus

What is the status of Template:VisualConsensus? It was nominated for speedy deletion by an IP (which I declined), but I noticed that it isn't really being used anywhere. I am inclined to nominate it for deletion considering it's unused and hasn't been edited in four months, but I wanted to check with you first before I took action on it. Could you let me know? Thanks! SchuminWeb (Talk) 05:12, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the consult.
VisualConsensus is a great idea - but unfortunately I think that templates will not be the way to implement it. I think it will require either LUA, a bot or an extention to render it as an SVG. either way - you can delete it and the associated sub-templates. BO | Talk 08:49, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Page Curation newsletter - closing up!

Hey all :).

We're (very shortly) closing down this development cycle for Page Curation. It's genuinely been a pleasure to talk with you all and build software that is so close to my own heart, and also so effective. The current backlog is 9 days, and I've never seen it that low before.

However! Closing up shop does not mean not making any improvements. First-off, this is your last chance to give us a poke about unresolved bugs or report new ones on the talkpage. If something's going wrong, we want to know about it :). Second, we'll hopefully be taking another pass over the software next year. If you've got ideas for features Page Curation doesn't currently have, stick them here.

Again, it's been an honour. Thanks :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 12:21, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

This is not a newsletter

This is just a tribute.

Anyway. You're getting this note because you've participated in discussion and/or asked for updates to either the Article Feedback Tool or Page Curation. This isn't about either of those things, I'm afraid ;p. We've recently started working on yet another project: Echo, a notifications system to augment the watchlist. There's not much information at the moment, because we're still working out the scope and the concepts, but if you're interested in further updates you can sign up here.

In addition, we'll be holding an office hours session at 21:00 UTC on Wednesday, 14 November in #wikimedia-office - hope to see you all there :). I appreciate it's an annoying time for non-Europeans: if you're interested in chatting about the project but can't make it, give me a shout and I can set up another session if there's enough interest in one particular timezone or a skype call if there isn't. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 11:14, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Magen David Synagogue (Byculla), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Victorian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Just a reminder

The display of non-free images anywhere except for in articles (such as you did here) is a violation of WP:NFCC#9. Non-free images should be linked-to from talk pages, not actually shown on them. VernoWhitney (talk) 00:01, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder. I thought the restriction for NF images was just user space.
P.S. how did you locate this violation ?
BO | Talk 21:24, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
There's a daily database report that lists every use of non-free images outside of mainspace. VernoWhitney (talk) 23:27, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Karate clothes?

Regarding the karate clothes you mentioned was a feedback-tool comment that someone left. I have the asana pages watchlisted and read the feedback. I never saw that. What are you referring to?Curb Chain (talk) 12:05, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi Curb Chain - thanks for collaborating, why not join the Yoga project officially!
I am referring to feedback from the list of asanas but which I've seen elsewhere too, I've been organizing the wikipedia 1.0 data for the project and quite familier with it so . The Karate clothes I refer to are for example File:Ardha_matsyendrasana.jpg in which 90% of the body is hidden by compared to File:Ardha baddha padma padagriva yoga nidra asana.jpg in which bout 10% is covered by clothes.
There is still work to be done on the Crow Pose, it has a number of issues, please explain, why did you remove all the pictures from the top and revert the edits by User:Rajeshmsharma ? BO | Talk 13:04, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
I put them in a gallery. Really, we don't need more than one picture to illistrate the asana. I think I've joined the project? User:Rajeshmsharma added links to youtube which are considered spam.Curb Chain (talk) 23:24, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
But now there is not picture in the leade. Also the three pics now in the gallery are three variants (of different level difficulty). Unless you object, I'll put the most advanced as is cutomary near the leade. Also I'm not sure how to give the gallery images titles. Finally Bakasana may result in a head injury and this should be mentioned. BO | Talk 23:29, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Sure, include the possible head injury. I checked the participants section, it does seem like I did not put my name there and I have now.Curb Chain (talk) 23:39, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
How are they variants?Curb Chain (talk) 23:40, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
In most asanas we list minor variants like the optional placement of the knees. Beginners make contact on the elbows with bent arms. Advanced practitioners will be next to the arm pits, like Iyenger does and with the arm straight which is harder on the wrists BO | Talk 23:54, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Shouldn't they be called different? Sure we could include them in the leade but we should caption them so we explain those differences. Otherwise, they should be in a gallery if they are all the same.Curb Chain (talk) 01:21, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
Also, if you can let me know with the {{talkback}} I know if you have responded.Curb Chain (talk) 01:23, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

December 2012

Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Anjaneyasana. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 01:40, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

  • IMHO editing Wikipedia is still considered a collaborative venture and as such working within the auspices of the Yoga Project we help each other early and often. As such I thank-you for your concern but will reserve the right to edit in Mainspace according to Wikipedia's policies.
  • I request that you show more restraint when templating new articles. Excessive use of templates in a frequently edited article is disruptive when done in the first ten minutes of article creation. You behave as if the page has gone live when it still requires third party approval prior to official publication. Also as a courtesy to other editors you might consider reading WP:DTR and this. BO | Talk 10:27, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

  Done

Asana not pose

Please remember to use the correct term, asana, not pose.Curb Chain (talk) 17:53, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

I am not sure what the context is. Generally the problem with the word asana (pose) is that it is not English but a transliteration of Sanskrit, as such it is an ambiguous/technical term (since it also means seat). I guess I'd use pose to translate asana on occasion.
No. Pose is even more ambiguous. Asana is not pronounced in Sanskrit the same we pronounce it in English. Thus, use the correct term.Curb Chain (talk) 23:21, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
And secondly, that is BLATANTLY poor writing. emphasis mineCurb Chain (talk) 23:23, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
More than someone's opinion, a quick survey of the literature, settles the matter for me:
  • Anatomy of Hatha Yoga uses mostly Posture but also pose.
  • Light on yoga uses Posture, Pose and āsana interchangeably.
  • Yoga Anatomy by Kaminoff uses Pose
  • Dynamic yoga - uses Pose
  • Maran's Illustrated guide to yoga uses Pose, Bend and Twist
  • Yoga for dummies - uses Pose
  • The Key Poses of Hatha Yoga likes Pose
So pending a broader consensus in the yoga project there is no correct term.
Finally Wikipedia's rules of etiquette require that other people be civil in their comments on my talk page - as such I'll assume that you were joking and actually meant that it is SPLENDID writing (emphasis yours ;-). Cheers BO | Talk 01:14, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes I am completely being civil, which is why I told you the emphasis is mine. But yes, it is poor writing. Why? I see that you linked Human position with Posture. This tells me you know that posture and position are not the same, and it tells me that you know pose does not mean asana exactly. Sure these sources use "pose" but when referring to the yoga context, as you have mentioned, asana is decisively not ambiguous.Curb Chain (talk) 16:13, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
And lastly, you are using English texts. The most common name for these asanas are the Sanskrit names. And make sure these names are used at the yoga competitions, which is the standard name we should be using per WP:NAME which means the term that is most commonly used should be name that we use. Thus, at yoga competitions where the largest number of people use the name would be the most often understood.Curb Chain (talk) 16:18, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Competitions in yoga are not a reliable source for names. Wikipedia prefers books and English wikipedia prefers books in English. In some cases the asana's names are hard to track. SO if you have specific issues we can discuss them after all not all positions are in all the competitions either. ;-) BO | Talk 17:19, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
[1] is reliable and notable. What they use is what is broadly used. So yes, we should use the names the largest number of people use.Curb Chain (talk) 17:58, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

A kitten for you!

Well, thank you, glad to help. I like the articles about asanas to be as correct as possible. Lots of them are still missing or incomplete, halas ! I have lots of models at my disposal so we all hope to contribute. I am very new at this so if I need help I 'll definitely be asking for it. Question. If I update a file in wiki english it is not automatically updated in other languages ? how about the pictures do they go world wide or do I have to post them individually ? Thanks, Jemasty

Jemasty (talk) 16:37, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the Kitten, it is very much appreciated!
The images you have uploaded to commons are available universally. The articles, are not updated automatically but are developed either from scratch or based on the English version which most people speak. French, Check Republic and Netherlands have been most active to date on as well as one of the Indian languages. I think we are way ahead in English now. If an article reaches Good or Featured level then it will almost certainly get translated widely.
If you are interested and have time I can mentor you officially or if you want I can look over your work and help out as required. BO | Talk 17:39, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
As well me. Yes, we should try to get our articles up to FA so we can get them translated. I will help if that is needed.Curb Chain (talk) 17:59, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Warrior asanas

Wow, I didn't know you created and added those very important asanas. Let me know and or post on the wikiproject talk or wikiproject page. I see we have another great contributor Jemasty that we should help. He can put his name on participants. He made a new page, though, which I feel is a variation of crow (Parivritta Eka Pada Koundinyasana‎). I suggest deleting the page and merging the information into that page.Curb Chain (talk) 16:58, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

It helps too if you add the new pages you create to List of asanas and the template.Curb Chain (talk) 17:00, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

I've asked User Jemasty to join the project and I try to help (him/her) as much as I can. I've created a new asanainfo template which is much easier to use and I've found lots high quality images which I'm uploading to commons. I've sorted most of the asana images into 5 groups.
The position above is an independent asana its far more advanced than Bakasana . I expect we could end up with as many as 200-700 Asanas eventually.
Err ... deleting and merging are not the best way to welcome newcomers!BO | Talk 17:30, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Also I was not sure which template you meant - but I now have realized you meant the Asana template, I like to wait a bit till the article stabilizes. I think working on the template is too advanced for new editors. Once I finish working on AsanaInfo, I will improve the Asana template by splitting it into 5 rows based on the classification I've set up in the list and in commons. Also we might find Asana icons to put in there! BO | Talk 17:48, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Which 5 classifications I do not see? No, you have to understand that crow and crane are both body-supported-by-arm(s) asanas. The article up there is a variation of crow, where one arm supports the body. Of course it is advanced, but it is an advanced variation. If we were to include every variation then it would not be notable. I think considering it is a variation, it is not notable.Curb Chain (talk) 18:04, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Please look at Trikonasana. The revolved/twisted triangle pose are variations. Of course it is not as challenging, but this is not a criterion for inclusion on wikipedia. I wait for your answer before I nominate it for deletion.Curb Chain (talk) 18:07, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
My answer just got wiped out by your comment. Anyhow trikonasana is a problematic article which needs work. The twited version need to be split IMO and it is notable too. Only the size of the step and the height of the arm are variations (but they have two names for them) BO | Talk 18:20, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
So the distance between the tip of the Hhlluxhallux and heel would be a variation, and the height of the arm, would also be another variation? No.Curb Chain (talk) 18:26, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Of course not - the twisted and regular trikonasanas are different asanas with different name. It's just that the regular and big variants have also got different names but they are just variants. I'm trying to edit some articles, so I ask you to trust me that I can establish notability for differently named poses based with a crow like hand support e.g.
  • lotus legs with arm support
  • lotus legs supported on elbows (like dophin)
  • no twist with one leg on the elbow and the other other pointing up and back.
  • no twist one leg back and one leg front (split);
  • twist with straight and bent legs on one elbow,
  • twist with two straight legs on one elbow,
  • twist with one leg back the other to the side,
each has different center of mass anatomical focus etc but very few people can do them.
  • p.s. some have variants with one palm one elbow used for support too. BO | Talk 18:42, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Please show me the pictures. The name of variants are really the issue here. We will see exactly what you are talking about if you show me the pictures.Curb Chain (talk) 20:29, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
I looked at Parivritta Eka Pada Koundinyasana‎ and noticed that the thigh is supported by the arms. This makes this a new asana and not a variation of bakasana.Curb Chain (talk) 11:56, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Shy new comer

Hi, my name is Jemasty, (F, 51) I am a yoga teacher/webmaster and live in France, I speak French and English so translation for yoga postures for Wiki France should not be a problem. I'd like to contribute to the yoga posture project and would need your help. The Wiki back office looks like a maze to me right now, but I'll figure it out eventually. How can I best help ?

  • I very much like the idea of an asana template, so all asanas have the same construction and it is easy to edit.

Question: if the name of the postures are RED does that means they have a problem ? Question: what asana icons do you need, can I help with thatJemasty (talk) 07:31, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello Again Jemasty. Luckily most of the work on the Wikipedia is easy to learn and intuitive. Also even if you only do what you know best that's fine - because there are many users who like to help out but don't know so much about say Yoga or even languages!
When a link is red it means that the target page does not yet exist. It is a call to action for other users to expand Wikipidia. It's a good idea, when you create new articles to make sure you put in plenty of links (called wikifing) so that recent change patrolers won't think you copied and pasted the text from another site.
Regarding the asana template, we were talking about a template that appears at the bottom of the asana article with link to all the asana articles. However as per your comment, I can also create an asana article creation template to help standardize things. I will do so later today, and update you and the project.
P.S. it is prudent not to reveal to much information about yourself until you have settled in and know more about the culture of the wiki. BO | Talk 12:55, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

copyvio pics

There are quite a few of those pics being used with that model. Shouldn't they all be copyvios? Aren't there pictures to replace them? cf. tadasana.Curb Chain (talk) 11:17, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

They are not CC-SA nor fair use so they need to go. Not all have replacements yet BO | Talk 19:26, 9 December 2012 (UTC)

Minnesota's 1st Congressional District

Hello, OrenBochman. My recent contribution to Minnesota's 1st Congressional District was not vandalism. The First District is primarily a rural district built on a strong history of agriculture. Deleting the phrase "Wolfs" in front of agriculture is not vandalism, mostly because "wolfs" is not a noun, and "Wolfsagriculture" (the original form) is not a word. Additionally, the 1st District's tradition of agriculture is something that exists; their tradition of Wolfsagriculture is not. That's ignoring the fact that the individual who originally changed it from agriculture to Wolfsagriculture only made one other edit ever, namely changing "Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party" to "Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Penis". Fixing clear vandalism is not vandalism. 75.76.46.204 (talk) 00:03, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up - my bad. I have reverted my last action BO | Talk 00:09, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bharadvājāsana, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Padmasana (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WikiProject Yoga tags

Hi Oren, you are incorrectly tagging articles with no stub tags as stubs for WikiProject Yoga, such as The Family (Australian New Age group) (where I noticed this) and Jeannine Parvati Baker (which I found while randomly flipping through your contributions). If you're planning to go back and correct them later, that'd be fine, but it'd be better to do the assessment properly the first time. Graham87 10:04, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi Graham87 - I've been doing lots of house keeping for the yoga project. I just created the yoga stub template a couple of weeks back so only a few articles have them. I and others will be busy assessing these in the near future, as well as adding stub templates.

P.S. you can see a log of this activity in this area at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team/Yoga_articles_by_quality_log which I was asked to set up.

Hand-coding

Hey all :).

I'm dropping you a note because you've been involved in dealing with feedback from the Article Feedback Tool. To get a better handle on the overall quality of comments now that the tool has become a more established part of the reader experience, we're undertaking a round of hand coding - basically, taking a sample of feedback and marking each piece as inappropriate, helpful, so on - and would like anyone interested in improving the tool to participate :).

You can code as many or as few pieces of feedback as you want: this page should explain how to use the system, and there is a demo here. Once you're comfortable with the task, just drop me an email at okeyes wikimedia.org and I'll set you up with an account :).

If you'd like to chat with us about the research, or want live tutoring on the software, there will be an office hours session on Monday 17 December at 23:00 UTC in #wikimedia-office connect. Hope to see some of you there! Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 23:04, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Writing

Please remember that encyclopedic articles are not how-to guides.Curb Chain (talk) 05:10, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi Curb, you got to improve your communications. I am quite busy and I don't have time to write how to guides. This type of comment, like the debate on asanas is just a waste of time. How can I possibly know what article you are talking about? In the future if you find some issues - please either fix the section's style, tag it or provide a link to it.
