Are you associated with elope, Inc.? If so, please read the conflict of interest policy and make the required disclosure, and, if necessary, the paid editing disclosure. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:22, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

My apologies for not answering this one sooner. As I mentioned below, I'm not affiliated with the corporation. Omnitaus (talk) 22:15, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

AFC

edit

Please do not remove AFC declines and comments from an article in AFC. Maybe you didn't notice that there are small instructions saying not to remove that material. It is removed by a script when the article is accepted. Maybe you didn't know. Now you do. Robert McClenon (talk) 19:01, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

I did not notice that, thank you for the explanation and patience. It won't happen again! Omnitaus (talk) 20:17, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Date format

edit

You asked on IRC about the preferred date format for references. Generally I'd go with either "January 15, 1900" or "15 January 1900", depending on what's the predominant format currently used or on the geographic relevance (British articles get "day month year", American ones get "month day, year"). The ISO format of "1900-01-15" is also acceptable. What I would advise against due to possible ambiguity is shortening the year to two digits; would 12-11-10 be November 10, 2012, November 12, 2010 or something else, maybe December 11, 2010? Huon (talk) 20:19, 24 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks, I will stick to the "January 15, 1900" format! Omnitaus (talk) 20:29, 24 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
