Hello OlamideGCFR. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:OlamideGCFR. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=OlamideGCFR|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS💬 07:20, 14 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello.. I am not been compensated by any sort as I was only contact based on the fact that the page was on pending review.. Thanks for understanding

How you own copyrights for these images? also, please stop moving drafts to main and let reviewers do their job. GSS💬 07:32, 14 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I would refrain from such. Thanks

You have not yet answered my question that if you don't have a conflict of interest then how you own the copyrights of images you uploaded on commons.wiki as your own work? GSS💬 08:15, 14 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I downloaded them on google , mostly on websites which offered them free with out copyright claims

Request reason:

I created my wikipedia account which is solely to help and improve information and data been passed to the public which has been what I have been doing, recently I was contacted by a wikipedia user, he asked me to guide him on publishing a page he worked on and I let him know its improper to publish a page created less than 24 hours of creating it as you to do proper diggings and finding on your subject matter, he told me he had been working on it for sometime offline, I then helped him publish the page knowing fully well the consequences OlamideGCFR (talk) 18:55, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This request boils down to that you were aware of guidelines but went against them anyway. You provide no assurance that this will change in the future. You also have not adequately addressed the copyright issues above as to why you claimed copyright that you did not have. For these reasons, there are no grounds to lift the block at this time, and I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:09, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I went ahead to publish the based on the fact he said he had been working on it from he's Microsoft word software, as such I didn't know what else to do, but I already realised my mistake and would do it again,

as regards the image copy right issues, I would say I say a tag appear on most pages saying I should join picture upload challenge on the wikipedia pages which don't have images, I have also realised my mistakes as well and would refrain from same mistake OlamideGCFR (talk) 19:16, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

In your next unblock request, you need to address the copyright issues. PhilKnight (talk) 10:43, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
