Hi,
I am not trying to promote the project as an advertisement. I am genuinely trying to capture what we have achieved on the project, and how the project came to be.
It's my very first time trying to contribute to WikiPedia, and it's daunting to be blocked on a Request for review.
I would have much preferred constrictive feedback ,and make any changes needed to be up to scratch.
The project as been featured on StartupGrind, Future Talks, 2 published articles, and we are expecting a lot more with the progression of the Oi Kattoi project.
Oi Kattoi is dubbed as the first NFT of Cyprus, and we have had several interviews which included Startup Grind, Future Talks Cyprus, as well as Lizten Blitz podcasts.
Please help me make my account, and article meet the wikipedia standards, and I promise to abide by the rules. OiKattoi (talk) 17:45, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello OiKattoi. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:OiKattoi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=OiKattoi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:23, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not being paid by anymore, nor am i am employer of anyone.
I don't understand what i have done wrong here :( OiKattoi (talk) 17:46, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Are you selling this NFT?
Is Oi Kattoi your project?
If either or both are correct you are being paid, broadly construed. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:44, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website - I have blocked this account. Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a change of username of your current account here. The new username must represent only yourself as an individual and comply with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you.

Speedy deletion nomination of User:OiKattoi/sandbox/Oi Kattoi

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:OiKattoi/sandbox/Oi Kattoi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:54, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I will ask that the article is not deleted, but rather reviewed, and i'm given the opportunity to make edits, and ask others to contribute to the article.
Respected journalists (at least in my country) have written about the project and reported on it nationally.
Please help me understand what i need to change in order to meet the Wikipedia requirements. OiKattoi (talk) 17:48, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
