Merhaba Noyder. Sırp sındığı muharebesi ile ilgili yazdığın yorumlar hakkında.. Herşeyden önce ben bir Türk'üm. Akıl sağlığım yerinde olduğu müddetçe de Türk tarihi ve Türk tarihçilerine saygısızlık etmem ya da bu makaleyi batımerkezcilikle (?!) ele almam söz konusu değildir. Çoğunlukla (aslında özenle seçmeye çalıştığım) batı kaynaklarını kullanmamın nedeni, ne yazıkki karşı tarafın Osmanlı kaynaklarını güvenilir bulmayıp pek de kaale almayışıdır. Ben tabiiki böyle düşünmüyorum ama kendilerine aksini kabul ettirebilmek için uzun tartışmalara girecek İngilizce seviyesine sahip değilim. Bu nedenle hatalarını kendi tarihçileriyle göstermeye çalışıyorum. Bu pek de kolay değil, özellikle de Türk/Osmanlı askeri tarihi konulu makaleleler bu kadar tek taraflıyken. N. Jordan'ın yorumu üzerine 'Ok but, are the Turkish sources reliable when they describe Ottoman defeats? Or not reliable for all?' diye aslında ince bir alay ve kinaye içeren bir soru sormam, kendisinin çiğ tarafçılığını eleştirme amacı taşıyordu. Tamamen yanlış anlaşılmışım. Saygılarımla. Yanıtınız için teşekkürler. Görüşlerinize tamamen katlıyorum. Maksadımız bir, yöntemler biraz farklı o kadar. Anladığım kadarıyla tarih ve yabancı dil alanlarında benden çok daha donanımlısınız.
