File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Mario santoro.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Mario santoro.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:14, 16 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Steve-jobs-wallpaper-5979-hd.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Steve-jobs-wallpaper-5979-hd.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 05:00, 7 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sanjana Sanghi edit

The article Sanjana Sanghi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Request you to consider a few days by then I can improve the article - Nischayn22 18:11, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sanjana Sanghi edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sanjana Sanghi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Re:Regarding deletion of article on Sanjana Sanghi edit

Alright, fair points. Lets go down the list to address the issues in question and then we can decide what the next best move is.

First off, all biography articles need to be created with citations. Those that aren't end up squarely in the cross hairs of csd patrollers who alert the admins who then delete the articles - but you knew that already, since as you observed it just happened to you. You did say that you wanted to add citations in the coming days, however admins here that before from fanboys and fangirls desperate to keep an article on here at any costs and when they elect to wait for the editor(s) in question to add citations...they don't appear. That makes us look foolish for having trusted editors, and it puts us in an uncomfortable situation because other admins then claim that we should have acted to delete far sooner than we did - if we were able to get to the article in question at all before someone else got to it and axed it.

On top of that, the article that you were/are attempting to recreate is a whole other difficulty level higher because its got a history of deletion on Wikipedia - in particular, it has a deletion discussion (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sanjana Sanghi). unlike ordinary csd deletion, afd deletion is an entirely different beast: when an afd-based deletion occurs, the is an absolute mandate for the article in question to come back infinitely stronger and vastly superior than the version that was deleted if it is to remain on Wikipedia. That means that if the deleted version was two paragraphs and 20 kilobytes then the recreated version needs to be a small novel and come in 3-4 times larger with double the sources - and those sources all needed to be drawn from reliable 3rd party pools. therefore, your article had no chance at all to remain because its version was far too similar to the version deleted via the afd.

As for the A7, unless the actress has won a nobel peace prize, or become richest actress in the world, or been elected to the presidency of the nation, or discovered life on mars etc, etc, then she fails the significance clause for the A7 csd criteria. Since I've been here I've seen the article recreated several times and there has never been a credible ascertation of notability justifiable enough to warrant an article here...yet.

Personally, I feel it was a poor choice to have dropped the article protection to have allowed you to work in the article space under these conditions, it would have been better to have started this article via the articles for creation process so as to get continuous feedback on the article and when it would be sufficiently ready for publication in the main space. That's why I reinstated the article's admin protection level to keep it from being recreated. That being said, if you want to work on the article you created I'll move what you had over to user sandbox or to the AFC pages so you can work on it in peace. That I judge she doesn't meet the qualifications to be here yet doesn't mean that she won't someday cross the threshold for inclusion, so if you want to prepare for that day more power to you.
