Also, there are similar discretionary sanctions in place for:

• (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed,
• post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people
• living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles

You should review WP:RSP, which details the community's consensus regarding a variety of sources. Also, be aware that Wikipedia is not a general discussion forum, so talk page posts that are not focused on improving the article within the site's policies and guidelines are inappropriate.
