AfC notification: Draft:Deborah Mannas has a new comment
editDeborah Mannas moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Deborah Mannas, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editHello Nihara.widefy. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Treymond Smith, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nihara.widefy. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nihara.widefy|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. You name suggests you work for https://widefy.in - Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion KylieTastic (talk) 11:35, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Please read the Wikipedia policy on Neutral Point of View again. You have written at least three drafts that all appear to be written to praise their subject rather than to describe them neutrally. Articles for Creation
editHi Nihara,
I'm just following up on the COIN (Conflicts of Interest Noticeboard) discussion, as I understand that you are a newer user, and wanted to point you in the direction of the notability guidelines on Wikipedia such that you don't face the frustration in the future of creating an article only to see it rejected or deleted.
These guidelines are quite broad, but if you understand one subsection of them, the general notability guidelines, you will be in a much better place to create articles on suitable topics that will remain in the encyclopaedia. If you intend to continue writing articles about people, I would also suggest reading WP:Notability (People). I won't go into details here, as the content there is much clearer than I can provide, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
In terms of finding suitable topics, I notice you are interested in biographies, specifically of entertainers. Could I point you towards Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/DoWW/Film+Stage? The Women in Red project is an important effort to boost the gender disparity in Wikipedia articles, and to that end they have created extensive lists of articles that need to be created; the one I linked is for entertainers, both historical and modern - any efforts you can make towards creating one or more of those articles are almost certain to be well received.
For a more general project dedicated to creating biographies of entertainers, I would also point you towards Wikipedia:WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers; they don't have the same specificity of articles needed, but there are some excellent resources there.
In any case, best of luck with your future editing, and if have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me, either in a reply to this, or on my talk page. Alternatively, you can go to the WP:Teahouse, but I believe you have discovered that one on your own.
Best regards, BilledMammal (talk) 12:38, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

editYour account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, as you did at Draft:Deborah Mannas. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
