This was a confusion, and has since been clarified.Nidhishunnikrishnan (talk) 22:14, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Thumbolarcha, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page G. K. Pillai. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:22, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

That was an edit in good faith. The word "strouthos" does mean "sparrow" in Greek (from which the Latin cognate derives), as you can see even on Wiktionary itself. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ostrich
Translating "ostrich" as "ostrich" (as it was originally in the article) doesn't serve any useful purpose; I don't see why this isn't obvious. Nidhishunnikrishnan (talk) 17:32, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Given the sizes of the birds, isn't it obvious how it isn't obvious? :) I'll revert myself. - UtherSRG (talk) 17:35, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ahh I see that now. :) Thanks, anyway. Nidhishunnikrishnan (talk) 17:44, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
