Hi, please don't

  • add the name of the Falabella in the caption. It is not needed and is in fact discouraged for the privacy of the owner.
  • remove content without commenting why (removing stuff without reason is counted as vandalism)
  • change information that is supported by a reference. If you disagree with the info, you can use inline tags such as {{dubious}} and take the issue to the page talk
  • redo without discussion edits that have been reverted or undone previously - this can count as vandalism, or editwarring. Pitke (talk) 16:13, 22 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, We have changed the photo because a photo that shows a group of horses and says 'one may be a Falabella' is irrelevant. The page is specifically about Falabellas, not miniature horses in general. It is like having a page on the 'Supermarine Spitfire' and having a photo of old war planes with the caption 'one of these may be a Spitfire'. The Photo we have inserted is of 'Falabella Festivo', that is his name, the prefix 'Falabella' being his name as he was born on the Falabella ranch in Argentina. We have owned him since 1994. We changed the info. - 'eight inches tall at birth' because it is nonsense NO horse has EVER been born alive at that size. Fact. We have been breeding pure Falabellas for 30 years, the smallest adults at birth are sixteen inches.

Hello, I'm Justlettersandnumbers. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Falabella have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. One other thing: why do you call yourself "we"? Wikipedia accounts are strictly for individual personal use – if there's more than one of you, each should have a separate account. Institutional or group use of accounts is not permitted. Can you clarify? Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 08:36, 29 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Kilverstone Hall, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You've been asked again and again not to do this. Please do not add even one more link to www.falabellahorses.com. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 17:44, 28 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:FalabellaMare&foal.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:FalabellaMare&foal.jpg, which you've attributed to falabellahorses.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
