Request reason:

I was helping to accurately document the "Bibliography" on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hart_McNichols it is extensive and many small edits had to be made to get it right. I am formally requesting to be unblocked. Revising this wikipedia and it's bibliography, is not disruptive editing, it is extremely specific. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to clarify and validate myself as a wikipedia user in good standing, thank you.

Decline reason:

You are blocked for abusing multiple accounts; you'll need to address this, and only this, in your unblock request. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 05:11, 8 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm requesting to be unblocked as I only have one account for wikipedia: Nicelion727 I worked with one person in the UK who originated the wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hart_McNichols. I've never had another wikipedia account. Compiling the information on this single wikipedia page has been very detail oriented. The edits look disruptive because when working with so many dates, book ISBN numbers, it looks like an "over enthusiastic" person is editing the page. But the truth is I'm just being diligent to get it all as accurate as possible. I'm formally requesting to be unblocked. I'm one single account: Nicelion727. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Your unblock request has been declined for the reasons articulated by Yunshui below. ♠PMC(talk) 02:34, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've received your email, but as noted on my Special:EmailUser page, I only handle issues via email that can't be handled on-wiki. As noted in your block message above, you're welcome to submit an unblock request on-wiki, which I'd be happy to respond to (and potentially accept, if satisfied my block won't prevent ongoing disruption). ~ Rob13Talk 23:43, 7 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I had a colleague in the UK assist me in creating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hart_McNichols I'm in North America and I have not been paid nor has he. Being new to wikipedia I did not know where to start so he got me started. I've always only had one wikipedia account nicelion727 and have aimed to have all information be accurate with a neutral voice. I would appreciate being unblocked. Thank you. Your colleague in the UK, User:Algernon64, has been confirmed as part of a group of paid editors abusing multiple accounts. Whilst I'm happy to accept that you are in fact in different countries, it is still highly unlikely that you would work exclusively on an article created by a paid editor and confirmed sockpuppet account without being a part of that editor's group. Editing on behalf of another user is treated as though you are the same user. It may be that you've simply been a victim of unfortunate circumstances, but our interest lies in protecting Wikipedia from inappropriate edits - I'm sorry, but I remain unconvinced that you are entirely unconnected to these other accounts.
