Hi, I'm Sulfurboy. Neferkheperre, thanks for creating Catomerus!

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Notochthamalus may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • the confamilial barnacle ''[[Chthamalus cirratus]]'' and [[Balanus flosculus]].<ref name=CD54/>{{rp|468

Identification keys for species, etc.

edit

Hello again Neferkheperre. I would suggest that you put a copy of your question onto the talk page of Wikipedia:Tree of Life and see what people say there. I think I personally have not so far seen an identification key in a Wikipedia taxon article (although there may be some somewhere that I have not come across.) In any case, a key would not fit into the taxobox, and so if one is included it would probably be as a section under a heading within the main text of the article (as we do in the gastropod project with cladograms). I am assuming you mean identification keys that you yourself would have devised? Not keys copied from published texts? The Tree of Life project editors can give you some input as to whether they think self-constructed keys (or attributed keys) are OK to include. Invertzoo (talk) 13:49, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nesochthamalus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Papua (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

JSTOR cleanup drive

Hello TWL users! We hope JSTOR has been a useful resource for your work. We're organizing a cleanup drive to correct dead links to JSTOR articles – these require JSTOR access and cannot easily be corrected by bot. We'd love for you to jump in and help out!

PeterR on WS

edit

Ray, user account PeterR seems to be running an unauthorised AWB which is making at least some counterproductive changes on a large scale. You should block him pending clarification of the situation on the VP. Removing Category:Reference Template is not only a waste of time and effort, but also means that reference templates cannot be identified as such by a machine, which could severely limit their long-term utility.
