- Experimentation can be done on this page: wp:sandbox or in your own page: click on "Sandbox" at the top of your page. Please avoid experimenting on articles as they are "live" and others will immediately see the results. You can click on "Show review" instead of "Save page" to experiment, but be careful as changes may show up in the References section as well.
- You can upload images provided they are not restricted by copyright. Copyright is taken very seriously on Wikipedia. Most images should be uploaded to commons:main page, or to this English Wikipedia under the "tools" section on the left column. (Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard). Something like http://www.mathopenref.com/images/concurrent-lines/lines.png would likely need to be recreated by you or someone to avoid copyright issues. For an lines.png image, a Scalable Vector Graphics (*.svg) file would be the best choice at it could be rescaled without pixelation. Displayed images are rarely their original resolution. A lines.svg image could be made with (freeware) Inkscape or Apache Open Office as well as some Microsoft products, etc. Hope this helps! Thanks for the note.
